@Beetlesoldier4: And of course, there's the Commander skill that directly lets you take people into battle with you...

love to see how lv1 hacking is "hey i can crack basic systems" and lv 2 hacking is "i can now work my way through more secure stuff" and lv 3 is "screw it i am just going to start kicking it open"

@Blank06: It *does* autosave when you complete each mission. It didn't save for me the first time I played, but I hadn't set the Flash local storage settings to Unlimited. Once I did that, it has saved fine. As with any Flash game, make sure that the Settings: Local Storage is set to Unlimited, and that you don't have any security/privacy settings or software that clears your internet files automatically.

I've realized that when the mutant and wolves that when they jump the closer you are, the more time you have to dodge but when your far away it's like an instant hit on you from out of nowhere, pretty annoying.

@Beetlesoldier4: You can get CPU partners to help you fight. Training Militia at the Shelter portion of the map screen will give you an extra guy or three on some missions in that area. Also, if you have empty spots in your Shelters, when you find a person on a map who you can talk to and add them to your team, they will follow you around for that instance. It can be very handy to have one or two soldiers, rangers, or captains following you to blast zombies with their shotguns and rifles.

This game could have been a lot better than it is if they put more effort into the text. There are numerous errors and it feels like (or is) written by a non-native English speaker. One example of this is on the team screen when you hover over the builder, and it calls the builder the engineer in the second sentence, even after correctly naming him once. Still, from what I've seen so far, these errors are not present in the code, as this game runs without glitching (for me at least). All in all, this is a good game, if unpolished and awkward in dialogue and other text.

Loved all the other Decisions, even appreciate that's it's very similar to them. But this one I feel has new problems like getting stuck in a loading screen, and possibly some memory leak slowing things down.

Put it nicely and it's solid, but nothing groundbreaking.
Put it bluntly and it's a rehash of the other games in the series.
The game doesn't establish itself as a unique title in the series(much like all the others with their predecessors).
You quickly notice that other than a few tweaks and several minor new features like recruitment/conscription/AI party members, it's the exact same game you played in Decision 1, 2 and Medieval with 99% the same enemies, maps and game mechanics.

@Freakycrafter: "Engineers and Rangers passively obstain materials while on the team." - in the hover/click comment of materials when clicked on "available materials" box at the top right from the "mission select" screen.

There should be an even lower graphics setting than the current lowest. Some of these missions, particularly the recon missions, my computer can not handle very well; so it would be nice if there was lower graphics available or some sort of lag clean up.

Great game, but the occasional black screen (see Hyperion1994's comment) is really a put-down. I'll give you that last star once you fix that :)

Nice version of the game, similar to Decision:Medieval by many aspects ..
still have some crush bugs, usually after load a level or in the middle of level (rear).
Playing on Maxthon browser with the last Flash version!

Yes, I know you can upgrade the output by 20% by purchasing upgrades. But it costs 3000 coins each time, and at best you're only getting a 40 coin per day increase. Assuming it's a linear increase, of course, and it does get better if it compounds (ie, 1.2*1.2*1.2*base rate), but for that to be worthwhile I need to buy the additional slot upgrades. Which cost engineers. Of which I still have only ten. Not a good trade.

Oh, and add in the fact that upgrading a factory automatically brings threat to the territory *and* raises the rate of rise pretty significantly, I put off upgrading them as long as possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Factories need a serious, serious buff. At best, you get 200 coins per day, and the lowest level is a measly 50. Okay, it only takes a single builder. Fine, I can spare that with a problem. But the higher levels take one and two *engineers* respectively? Over the course of a ninety-plus day game, I've only found ten so far. My team has no problems with capacity. Since the engineers each get me 150 coins every half day, the incentive to upgrade those factories is pretty lackluster.

The first thing that comes to my mind in this game is this: Voice Acting.
I'm sorry, but you've been fighting zombies for a LONG while, lost everything, and have cleared two cities of zombies.
Would it kill you to show SOMETHING for this? The voice actor is reading from a script, but is completely emotionless. That alone throws the entire thing out of whack.

4 games of decision and defending from an attack on the outpost still feels like a chore. I suggest you a boss/orgre on every attack. And add some upgrade for automated turrets/more auto attacking riflemen. It feels really great when you don't have to manually aim the weapons all the time. Maybe your squad will always help when defending from an attack on top of the wall.

no soldiers available !!! the progress is just stuck. The balance needs to be reworked in the game. 3/5 just for this. Kills all the fun out of it.

I have 5 engineers on my team, but I dont get any reward for materials. I do get money for citizens etc, but no material from engineers, which is holding up a lot of work. The description says that each engineer will produce 5 material per day if on the team !! Not sure if I am missing something.

awsome game as all previous versions of decisions series, good work guys, you should start thinking about multiplayer modes

Dude, I don't think those are zombie dogs. I think my character is just telling me they're zombies so I don't quit playing. An abandoned city has to have a lot of stray dogs, right? And how they whimper a little when you kill them?? People zombies don't do that!

@Mirthstrike: The detect upgrade gives both a general map (used by holding Z), and a radar that you can toggle on and off (by tapping Z).

This game has A LOT of spelling and grammar mistakes. Also, according to the first SMG, you GET TO USE A WHOLE COMPANY in this game, for $1000. yeah, guys, it's the MP5, not the HK.
