More suggestions: 3) Longer, more varied missions. The game is a lot of fun, and the skill/weapon branches add a great dynamic, but the four or so same missions get kind of tiring.
4) Different landscapes. I get that this is all based in one city, but you could maybe create suburban housing divisions, public parks, a forest, indoor missions, etc. Just like the missions themselves, the repetitive map loses its appeal after a while.
But with all that said, this is a solid, highly entertaining game. Kudos!

A couple of suggestions for the sequel (which there should definitely be):
1) Random pick-ups. Maybe power-ups, weapons with limited ammo (last only for the mission), bags of cash, etc. Maybe even have a search function, a la Dead Frontier.
2) Flashlight upgrades. Please, please, please put this in! A dark atmosphere definitely lends to the terror, but not being able to see enemies right in front of you is so extremely frustrating (especially when they're just outside of your flashlight's range and lobbing clods of deadly mud at you). It's the main reason why I abandoned Dead Frontier, for as fun as that game is, it's just way too dark. Heck, even instituting days that turn into nights (when the hordes really come out!) during longer missions could be cool.

awesome game~ I pretty much machine gun the first half of the game, and went kung fu master at the end XD
machine gun seems like a weird set, the only set that have draw backs when u reach new weapons~ Didn't dare getting mini until I maxed my melee, cause 3 sec rushed by dogs is just...
I would like a survivor mode of sorts at the end thou~ wanna see how imba my char is(at the end, threat lvl of all areas are low, so it's really hard to see, and I only got to see boss on scouting which is far from end so~) other that, perfect game

This is... pretty redundant. Its nice from start, but almost right away it starts to repeat the same things. Yeah, there is objectives and stuff. Guns. Zombies. More zombies. But not all that makes a good game. It misses something.

nice gameplay and graphics but movement is awkward as hell and health is poor plus having to pay for missions just leads to grinding :(

ehhh... I really like the game, but it's not really a zombie game when my problem is getting gunned down by squads of enemy assault rifles. Maybe if I were supposed to be the zombie. Also, even really early game zombies survive direct hits from the rocket launcher. It's more a "superhumans" game where the player is the last normal human left in a world where everyone else kills normals on sight with their perfectly-accurate can-never-miss assault rifles and laughs off bazooka rounds to the face.
I'm not saying it's a bad game, just that I clicked it hoping for a zombie and it doesn't play anything like a zombie game. Do the zombies even HAVE melee attacks? I've only ever been hit in melee by the dogs - the zombies throw stuff and shoot me.

Game got stuck in a level when I killed the last zombie with an explosive barrel. All zombies dead, no red arrow to anything. It said 1 zombie left, I blew it up, it still said one zombie left, and there are no zombies left, and I can't leave.

You know, if the control system worked, I may be tempted to keep playing. When I die because the "traditional" control system doesn't let me move away from bad guys or moves me towards bad guys when I'm not pushing any keys, you have *serious* problems.

Epic game. After finishing it and getting all the medals makes me want a sequel! Or just more missions. I'd rate this game 11/10. Thank you FlyAnvil! :)

I always wonder why GD don't get someone to check their spelling and grammar. Because no matter how much you say you don't care about it, that kinda things really brings a game down.

So the dark zombies throw dark clods of mud in the pitch black night, while you whirl about in all directions trying to find where you're getting attacked from until you're murdered by said mud. Please brighten the levels.

I stopped playing when the zombies with guns showed up. If you're going to implement that idea, fine, but why in the name of all that is holy would you give grunts the ability to stun-lock the player if they happen to be using shotguns? Let alone bosses, who carry rocket launchers and can really screw you over in the middle of a horde. I've died too many times because some edge-of-the-screen grunt zombie stun-locked me long enough for a few more gun-toting pricks to come along and finish the job. Great game with some cool ideas, but you really need to keep an eye out for major problems like the one I mentioned.

In the middle of powering up the factory in the 4th level, had two zombies left to kill. Shot one, blew up a barrel to kill the other... threat level is now 0 but the game says 1 zombie still left unkilled. Can't progress any further, can't finish the level. Lame, was really enjoying this, but not anymore... :(

@Nate24k If you wait a while they just disappear and it adds to your miss score i ran into the same problem waited 2-30 seconds and had my miss score drop

My only problem is that moving around with the mouse is a pain in the ass. It's hard to tell how far away from your character the line between "move forward" and "move backward" is... makes for clunky movements.

can you please add the option so that I can change the controls? I am a lefty and instead of WASD I use IJKL. also i'd like to change the reload command from R to Y

"I'll see your corpse in a crater!" *Throws a grenade and misses.*
*Explosion pushes the zombie towards me.*
*Chuck Norris-kick it into the crater.* *Dons sunglasses.*
Played to the end. The only problem, is that unless your self-defense abilities actually kill the zombies, they make you stand still. Thus, you get surrounded. It defeats the purpose of self defense.
