Oh man, flashtrek and stargate? What more could a guy ask for? I don't really have the time to play right now, but if you drop me a line, I'll do my best to beta test it as much as possible. Best of luck, I really look forward to seeing what you'll accomplish.

To adhere to stargate ways, the only way to get weapons is to steal them really lol. You attack a ship until it's disabled, but not destroyed, then you transport aboard it (press the transport button on the menu). At first you will only get latinum (money) but eventually you will get enough SG team experience that you'll be able to stela weapons, i have an Aurora class that has 3 drone weapons, Ori beam, and Asgard beam lol (but i can only use 3 at a time)

Foo, mate, add a description on the side explaining the locations of the cheverons and make the cheverons glow, that would be neet lookin, cheers.

Can you make the "buy weapons" option have a more RPG feel to em? make em more complicated? because while its neat to have to earn them, it would be even awesomerest if you could make guns drop. Then you could go to a store and upgrade. and make several different types. I've been put off of like a hundred games because they had the same old guns. otherwise, SWEET FOO! YOUR A GAMEMAKER!

Don't let it's incompleteness put you off, it's important that this is all vented in this stage of the game.

OK, all comments have been duley noted. The full finished version probably won't be released until late summer this year.
Some aspects of the game cannot be changed, as this game is too heavily reliant on the BM engine...which is a shame.
And yes, at this point a LOT of the deatils haven't been changed, although if it bothers you that much right now then i'll create a plugin. That should solve things for the time being. The first version of this was launched within a community that knows the game all too well so it may be hard for beginners :S sorry.

You got the START of a game here. But this is a bare start still I think. Now you say this is a Beta.... the state this is in it should still be in Alpha testing. The graphics are relatively unrefined in some ways still, next to no easily accessible information and as others have mentioned the UI isn't the most intuitive - add to this its very tiny cramped size... anyway you got the START of a good game here. I think you should take a step back however and out a lot more work into the look and feel of it.

Learning curve is too high, UI is absolutely terrible, and the spelling errors make this a pain to play. Would it have been too much to ask for a tutorial or help? WHY IS NOTHING LABELED!?

tried playing twice... can't get past the green rectangle in the stargate. Also, there is a typo in the opening sequence... it should say birth place of humanity, you left out the "y."

you really need to add some instructions; I cant even figure out how to sell the goods I have in my cargo hold when other ships request them.

You should mention that you click the top button to start, or something. I spent a minute waiting for the main menu to "load".

OK - to answer anymore of these 'White Screen' comments.
Just wait little while, the game is about 9.5mb's and just inside the maximum file upload, just give the game a little while longer to load and it will come on.

@carefullkiller - as i said, it was made using the BM engine (the flashtrekBM engine) and this is the beta so yes at the moment thats what it looks like.
The in game instructions i thought would be enough?

foofong1, please add a preloader and a tutorial - i have no idea what to do in your game. Beside, be careful with the ships and sounds as they are _very_ likely copyrighted.

Ok, hope you like the game, for a second there it didn't work, but it's fixed.
