What on earth is that nonsense at the end of the game? Should I feel bad for laughing? English is clearly not the primary language of the creator of this game.

Overall good game. The moving of units becomes rather boring and tiresome and the levels are all the same. You could add more tiles in the bunker that can be occupied by special units. Also, units should be able to shoot in all directions with range penalties if they are not in front.

The idea is good, the graphics and nice and so is the sound. But having to play to lose levels in the hopes of money dropping just so you can get upgraded enough to win the level is silly. I'm getting so tired of all these grinding games coming out lately, and it ruins this game. 2/5

Good game but i feel like it kind of lacks balance... A squad of gunner units is enough for nearly every level... The flamerat is ONLY useful against the rolling enemies and the stinger is hardly more effective against flying enemies than a gunner or two... the tesla troop is never necessary because you can just kill off the vehicles before they get near the base... Snipers are powerful but not very effective due to the fact they have one lane for the attack spread... and mortars are so OP its hardly worth mentioning. Its a good game, a great idea, and it plays out well, but i think if you made a sequel you could make it better before you added anything to it.

would have been cool to use orbs to buy more units (or an extra pick slot) and also if the unit picking screen told you what the units specs are (from what i can tell only the upgrade screen does that, and by then its too late to change them) other then that it was more fun then i thought it would be, as a final note, i did better after the stingers died on one level

Pretty fun but enemies are pretty stale and the units lack upgrade paths. Pretty much replay easy levels over and over until you're full power for each unit type and then beat the game. 3/5, needs badges and a bit more depth.

Consumables - Medpacks are the easiest to get. You can buy them 5 for 1000 cash. Stims are 250 cash each. Note that they do boost firepower a bit, but mostly they DOUBLE your already fast regeneration, so Med+stim=super healing. --- Be really careful with your airstrikes! Only use them if you are falling 'behind', in that enemies are coming faster than you can kill them. They are very difficult to obtain.---------Finally, if one of your dudes dies, you can pay 750 cash to REPLACE the dead dude with a new guy from the upgrade window. Don't forget about this if you are doing well, but just messed up and someone died. ---Note that wounded guys have a little bar above their head while they heal. Once healed, no more bar. SO you dont have to worry about a no-bar guy and wonder if he is wounded.

aha, joemama1512 your comment explains a lot.
I was wondering why everyone was saying they can win just by using flamers and how easy the game is...
You were all playing on boring rookie mode!

in the ending, can anyone explain to me what he is talking about when he says 'Bye, a part of me called snufkin... blah blah zero divisor' etc?

Strat Guide (copy when low plz): Your money, healing, stim, etc all CARRY OVER so dont use them just because you can.--------The best way to spend your limited money is to FULLY UPGRADE your basic GUNNERs. Once that is done, buy the Minefield for 5000 because it then will mine ALL maps from then on.------- I recommend using just Gunners until you get Morter Teams. Snipers do Gunner damage but only 1 square wide. Passthru damage is nice, but not enough to justify them. Flame guys range is total crap. They are useless. Stingers are best at anti-air, which is fairly rare and not needed. Tesla doesnt actually DAMAGE ANYTHING! Gunners have decent range, good damage, nice wide area of effect.------When you can get morters, use them exclusively. They can even HIT AIR! They do more damage than gunners, same width, but area effect damage and better range. So after the minefield, start saving money to fully upgrade these guys.

While the voice-acting certainly hints towards "Shitty Newgrounds stick animation" the rest of the game shines quite nicely.
Great, hardcore music and sound effects, pretty nice graphics and design, and a great overall play style.
My only problem is that it's impossible from a tactical standpoint, with unbalanced units and enemies. Flameants were pretty much useless, but the rolling enemies were far too strong, taking three fully-upgraded machinegunners just to possibly take one out. Supposedly, the pyros are good against them, but I've had two versus one and they both failed to take the roller out. It's fun, it looks and sounds great, but there are a few minor standings that bring it down. Down to a four, that is, which isn't really down at all.

i liked it, even if a speed regulation sistem would be really awesome. (sometimes, having the game a bit faster could be nice)

pretty nice game, but i agree with the speed button request, i'm playing on the swamp map and with 4 mortars and 4 gunners there is just no way they can reach me and I just stare at the screen cause they don't need to be moved (it's a nice formation anyway)

My Combo is: a few gunners for each side, 2 motors, and flame throwers on each side(usually placed middle to catch off the non-killed units)

Acidy: I find Tesla *very* useful. In some stages I just used them and gunners. They freeze enemies, giving lots of time for other units to destroy them.

A true, worthy 5/5.
This game has an astonishing atmosphere, beautiful graphics and intense, yet not too difficult nor too complex gameplay.
As others said before, yes, it does quite look and feel like Starcraft or Fallout, but has its own distinctive features. (And by the way, being compared to those games is quite flattering.)
On deeper strategy: I found Flamerats and Stingers not so useful. Snipers are great for getting rid of a single enemy, but need constant attention. Teslas and Mortars are a deadly combination.

Signore: Well then obviously you're doing something wrong. They certainly work for me.
Acidy: Snipers require you to move them around a lot. When you do, they are much more useful.

a nice game, but unbalanced, you can win the game with mortars and gunners only. tesla sucks since he takes 1 spot but doesnt deal any damage, flamethrower sucks cuz of small range and sniper just ducks in every way. 3/5. also upgrades could be better.
