Something I wish I had done first thing was invest in drop rate, it makes a huge difference on amount and quality of what you get.
My opinion on valuable composites:
ARMOR:
Magic Resist
+ Def %
+ HP %
+ Crit %
Block on shields is up to you
ACCESSORIES:
SP Recov (5+ no need for pots really)
+ Attack %
+ Crit %
+ Def %
WEAPONS:
+ Attack %
SP Recov
+ Crit %
Personally I like thunder because it stuns the enemy, making attacking them easier.
If you find an accessory with 10+ composite slots, invest in it. They don't have defense, so there is no other difference between lvl 1 and 31 than slots.

What's the best area in this game for Tome of Skill drops? I was getting a few of them at one point in the game, but now that I'm at 35th level, I haven't seen any in a loooooong time.

does the ability that looks like duplications really give you +5 con/luck/agi/str every level? When you're high level the exp and gold penalties get too high.

ok,
now i know that "you are not experienced enough" was just the WRONG and MISLEADING text". They should have said something like "you don't have the right mainquest to enter this cave"...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@AngelSpirit: now i have done every quest but the last and still can not enter the cave ( at least i think it is the last quest)

The hp/sp regen is bugged. Hp regen doesn't work at all, sp doesn't regen after you've died and restarted in village, have to unequip then re-equip the item for sp regen to work again.

Third off: Counterattack. Great skill if you don't have enough money for bersekr potions and best uped high if your planning a boss fight in the near future. Within a small percentage triggers the berserk attack boost.
Now I am to bid you fond farewells and hope you do well in your battles. :P

Ability suggestions: I suggest a few abilities that you absolutely MUST HAVE. First off: Hurricane. This pushes away the enemies and if your lucky will even kill a couple so whether your running like a coward, or pushing them away so that you have room to swing your weapon.
Second off: Energy Wave. This deals slightly less damage then your base attack, but allows you to exterminate them beasties from a longer range, best used if coupled with the hurricane skill.
Third off: Speedup. Great skill for the axe class, this skill speeds up your swing time and movement speed so much so that you actually have to use it about 5 times in a row to get used to it, a little slow in the recharge but worth it in battle.

Sword: By far the most balanced type of weapon ever created, medium damage balanced with a medium swing time makes it a pretty awesome weapon at sight, but there are, as the case with the other weapons, a couple drawbacks. As with the bosses they will keep attacking you, and since the active skills don't really help much, I suggest uping the basic swing ability points to make sure those guys get dead FAST.

I myself use a sword for this but have decided to put in a short guide for the beginners to the game.
Axe: A high damage dealing weapon which is uped using active skills, the one drawback to this weapon is that due to the long swing time it let's the enemies get in more hits. So before you pick this weapon for it's high damage, go read ahead for the good things about the others.
Blade:A light, light-medium damage dealing weapon that is best used with uped active skills to deal more damage, the strong point of this weapon is in it's fast swing time, allowing you to make that beasty dead before it can blink. The drawback is if you're dealing with a boss class enemy then unlike the regular monsters they will just keep on attacking you as long as your in range, or until they die, so either use lots of mana potions and active skills, or get ready for a lot of do- overs.

Axes have a medium Speed, with this they are the slowest Weapon.BUT i am Level 9 and do about 300 Damage with Combo and about 700 with Active Skill. The Active Skill makes you (like the Combo) invulnerable for ~2 Seconds while he jumps and hammers his Axe on the Ground, dealing massive Damage to surrounding Opponents.I hope this helps you choose which weapon set you wish to play with throughout the game, too.

Haha for those who were blocked like me at the last sealed entrance... you just have to slice your way through the seal (J) ^^ and don't be a fool, fill your inventory with potions, not only the ogre has a LOT of hp, also when he is on the verge of dying, his speed is doubled and the land is filled with pesky ghost!!!

seems like an ok game, but I can't get the stupid tip windows to not show up and can't see half the screen most of the time

Near the beginning of the game, it's tough to choose a weapon. The combos are what really make or break a weapon set, since your enjoyment of the game depends on your playstyle. Blades typically deal less damage per swing but swing faster, allowing you to make your foes flinch for longer. The combo sends enemies flying and the active skill deals a bunch of very fast hits to an enemy or two. This is my favorite of the three. The sword does more damage but it's slower. The combo sends you and your sword forward, dealing quite a bit of damage but leaving you vulnerable, and the active skill sends you further forward than the combo. The axe does the most damage but takes longer to swing. The combo does a ground smash with a decent radius and I haven't played with the active skill, but from the description it sends you in circles to damage all foes around you. I hope this helps you choose which weapon set you wish to play with throughout the game.

Um? You don't need a level to enter the cave, you need to finish a certain quest. If you have all the quests done, excluding the last one, you should be able to enter.

constitution gives you HP and SP. potions with names are pretty obvious: attack - u hit for more damage. luck - u hit crits more often and better loot drops. defence - mobs hit u for less damage. magic defence - mobs inflict less damage with magic attacks on u. (mobs with magic are higher levels, u'll encounter them later)

@ YouTookMyName this is the full version, the only difference in the "full" version is that u can use real money to buy things to this game

Amazing. I absolutely love rpgs like this. Great work, hopefully this game will be expanded beyond the full version cause this game deserves it.
It is very nice to see a decent game on Kong for once. Thank you.
