Going through a level bombing everything that could or couldn't harm me i felt at some point i'm gonna completely empty the sea of fish

I would have given it more than 3 stars if zooming in on this tiny window didn't break the game. Normally I'd just right-click > Show All, but you messed with that menu too for no good reason.

dont you thing the crab you kill to get the fourth key looks like the shen gaoren p.s. only people who played monster hunter will get it

this is oddly compulsive. It gets a bit samey, but I like that you can do random dives. I think the fully upgraded sub could be more spectacular, although it doesn't need to be with the dives an bosses at current difficulty.

I didn't know there were side-quests, until I started grinding other parts of the ocean and found a sapphire thingy. So people: there are sidequests!

Good game. The premise and story was interesting and the boss fights were nice breaks from the grind. Liked the open nature and ctulhu theme, maybe vary the bosses parterns or try two types of boss. Mechanics were good, twithchy in boss fight though. Art was nice, would like a deeper narative but an enjoyable game . Thanks

Boss fights need a bit of attention; I can't dodge well on the guy at 13,14. I'm quitting because I have tried him 4 times and am already fully maxed out on everything that would help me deal with him. The way the sub jumps backward when it hits the invisible "wall" at the edge of the screen is just too problematic for me. 4/5 as is; could become a 5 with that addressed and a couple more enhancements.

Tip for collecting treasure after killing a boss: hold down the left mouse button to navigate past the key and grab the other stuff first, then get the key last.

Great game and much improved over the first game. There's enough fuel to go around and maxing speed didn't send you diving faster than the torpedoes. The only nuisance is the target prioritizing. I'll be shooting one fish next to me and the torpedoes start shooting a fish far away. This has led to unfortunate encounters with the first fish. It gets especially unfortunate when that fish happens to be the mother of the last fish I fried...awkward. 4/5

for some reason the names on the fishes is messed up. For me the tuna says that it is a deep squid. For me to get the tuna's description I had to click on other descriptions. A weird glitch.

What a GREAT game... but now I've got everything... Now what? There's no "Congrats THE END" screen? -- Now don't laugh, but I didn't SEE the Crown entry in the Log, so I thought I'd have to dive the whole BOARD to find it, and I did FOR DAYS! Until, in frustrations, I looked at the log BY CHANCE, and it was unchecked, AND coordinates provided! *DAMMIT* Anyway. I'd love a "Congrats" message, when all is collected... Even if you then continue to add to the already collected millions.

In case anyone is wondering, the "Deep Squid" is really a Blob fish. No that is its real name, often on the lists of ugliest animals.

Am I the only one who thinks the descriptions for the fish are messed up? I can't even see the text for the lobster boss. And, that trout looking thing is not a deep sea squid. Looks nothing like the deep sea squid from the first game. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I just I could give it some positive critique. 5/5 all the way man. ;-)

IMO the maps should only show previously explored areas. Giving it all beforehand makes it too easy to find the treasures.

(After almost completing the game...) I wonder what the compass in the corner of the screen does. Click. Oh, it's a map for the whole stage. *facepalm*

treasures should give damage and armour bonuses. what's the use of more money when you've upgraded everything? btw, even with all maxed up I still can't kill that second vicious turtle

My main complaint is the grammar and spelling. They are not very good. My other complaint is that the description overlap often. They box is called the swordfish, one of the keys is a jellyfish, etc.

BUG: when you look in the area where it shows the discovered and not discovered animals it will mix up the name and description with the picture.

Am I the only one having problems running this one without it freezing every couple seconds? I'm on an i7 with 12GB ram so I'd think it would run smoother (also can't find a place to turn quality down to see if that would help)
Otherwise I like it.

I really liked this game, just like the precedessor, and voted accordingly. It needs to be updated a bit, though. Several descriptions are wrong, especially the fish etc. Also, the end is kind of a lackluster. When you get to annihilate Chtulhu, there must be a video or some captions at least. Also, I bothered getting all the optional treasure, that should be acknowledged somehow as well. Diving straight down was pretty dangerous, maybe you could change the game screen a bit or make the fish spawn earlier so they would be targeted faster and/or could be seen sooner. I also would have liked to get a little more space in the boss fight caves.

This game is like Robocop 2
It has it cool moments but it feels to rushed and there are many things that bother me that could be easily fixed
