for you people who think that the difficulty levels are wack, don't think of them as difficulty levels, but different playing styles

It would interesting to see how "luck" is determined, as the CPU seems to have allot more of it than I do.
Its average score per dice rolled is significantly higher than mine over many games, and it always seems to land high scoring combos when there are only 3 dice left to be rolled. Whereas I often get allot of 5's and struggle to hit the bank limit on many more occasions.
In fact it appears that the CPU has a significantly higher chance of scoring when rolling 3 dice than the player does...

can someone explain to me why i played 5 times against "cautious" and won every time, but then lost to "reckless" 10 times? it would be fun if it was more accessable...

my favorite part about this game is going through the comments and seeing all the ppl who have NOOOOOOOOOO idea the actual statistics of things or about randamizers or even luck in general complaing about how this game is rigged and they got cheated and COM PLEAT CRAP. i love this game it is superbly programed and each of the difficulties uses a completely unique stratigie each one being harder than the last one. this must have taken some time to come up with. LOVE IT i give it 10 zilch free games in a row!!!!!!!!

I am shocked--shocked, sir--that you would include an element of RANDOM CHANCE in a computer game. In these modern times, we have outgrown such primitive concepts. In our enlightenment, we realize strategy is a colloquialism for leveling-up, just as tactics is only an expedited rate of button-mashing.

So we "suck"? Hmmm, computer rolls 1-6 FIVE TIMES IN A ROW...in 5 games out of 15. Hmm, What are the odds of that? I've got over 100 games of this in, and I can count on one hand the number of times I've gotten 1-6 in a single roll, and the computer has gotten it 25+ times easy...and everytime its done it, it was behind say 5,000 pounts or more...if I was at 8500, it would just roll and roll and roll...and its done this on all three "difficulties". No, the developer needs to look into their code. There is something wrong with their randomizer, or they have it weighted differenently for the computer. JMHO

I play this game all the time with my family. We call it greed, but we don't have the three zilches in a row loses 500 points. I think I'm going to implement it, though.

wow, this game is just terrible in so many ways. the idea of a game is to make it fun and this doesn't even come close to that
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i agree with El3mo this game is really really slanted towards the CPU every time but when i played it with friends, nothing ever happened like it did with the cpu

Uh, Mosquixl, you're not listening, at least not to me. It didn't "get ahead," it .. whatever, I'm sure you're always right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can believe all the sore losers on here. The CPU is not cheating. I'm sure they think nothing of it when they are ahead by 4000 points, but if the CPU is ahead by that much, then it must be cheating. What a bunch of sore losers. This game rules, it's just like Farkel.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is slanted to the cpu player, meaning yes, it really cheats. 5 games or more in a row, for example, the cpu gets 1500 pts and an extra roll on the first play, and the human gets zilched every time.

The Game cheats. Was ahead by over 4k and the computer made it all up in one turn. Other than that I really like it. Can't wait to play with real dice w/ my friends.

I love this game.
However, it's even better with a baize surface, the clicking of the bones, a couple of quid, beer and few good mates around. Thanks for the game!

I like this game:) + No it is not rigged, its all luck, of course if you finish on a crappy score like 10600 and cautious is on 8100 they might as well keep rolling till they win or go out, really well designed game!:)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
takes very little skill, all luck. I got 3 zilches in a row without even being able to make(only had 150 pts each time) game is kinda rigged too as it wont let the computer lose by too much always comes back with an amazing roll of like 2-3000
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It is not rigged -- people who say that are just bad losers or are bad at choosing when to bank.
Get over yourselves -- it's a great game
5/5

If you're on a winning streak and the game is not going your way you can always quit and start a new one... Winning streak will still be there... :)

I have 103/120 awards and kongregate tells me i only have 81 :(
Even if i get the last 17 awards, with 98 awards i won´t be able to get the badge!

reckless got 6 ones in a row and got 4000 points and got a roll again and got a roll again then a 1-2-3-4-5-6 (roll again and got a total of 8500 points in one turn but me i got zlich and had to get it then this one time i was in the lead by 3750 points then the computer got 4300 points (i would make more fair if you know what i mean)

Interesting kind of take on a game, but very boring! sadly...the award system seems like another game on kongregate called Animorphus.
Pro: Fun type of concept, interesting way of rewards
Cons: No music, the CP wins on every game in easy mode! sad graphics
Overall Score: 3 out of 5

"...after eight games it becomes statistically significant." Hahaha. How indicative of the level of general statistical knowledge around here. 8 trials. lol.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Strange, was there a version change or something? Reckless became almost unbeatable yesterday for me, it keeps rolling 2000+ in almost every turn. I played about 10 games with the same result. Cautious and Human are actually easier to beat... It might be just bad luck though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i have never gotten a reroll against cautious...this could be bad luck, but after eight games it becomes statistically significant. It could be because my strategy is bad, but I kept the same strategy from when I play against reckless, and, when I play against reckless, I regularly win in fewer turns than it takes cautious to win when I play it. Conclusion: harder difficulty in this game just comes from you having a smaller chance at getting good rolls.
