Got the flawless victory with 1 mage(max dam and chain), 1 healer, and 5 knights. As long as you maneuver correctly to keep people in range, the mage attack + highground + vetran just owns.

2 mages (+9 magic, +3 chain, +1 health on high ground)(+6 magic, +3 chain, +1 health next to him) in the back row, 2 knights (+4 health) in front row in front of mages. Unbeatable against computer, 1000 pts every time.

Great game, never seen it before. I used I powerful mage on high ground, with 5 knights surrounding him. upgraded shield on front 3. Worked pretty good for a perfect, had to restart a few levels. 2 mages strategy wasn't working for me on the archer level. 5/5

Really needs the eyestrain issue fixed... If the site doesn't allow fullscreen, up the size and legibility of your text, don't just scale down hi-res text.

finished the game perfect score with default army, some levels took more than 1 try but the computer AI seems to go after certain targets so you can base your strat for that level off of the programming. However, getting a perfect score didn't give me the badge..and I didn't take a screen shot of it so bleh

I just completed a flawless with 1 mage, maxed on chain and magic, 1 healer, 2 archers and 4 knights. Used 2 rows of 4. Made the game pretty easy actually.

Yey!! Howdy's two mages worked for me (I had to go to "quit, retry level twice on the 9th level, the key was to separate the mages [knight's movement in chess apart] so they couldn't chain me).
Here's his post again:
the best squad i've found is as follows, remove all units but the 2 mages, place 1 mage on the raised ground and the other directly to his right. Max out their magic and chains (9magic, 3 chain) and give the guy on the raised ground 9 health and 1 speed and the other 8 health. Using those 2 units, you can systematically destroy every group flawlessly, just remember to use the mage on lower ground first on warriors as their shield will reduce damage, saving your good mage on high ground to get the max damage bonus. Also as a rule, always pass the first turn so that the enemy can get in range and you get first attack.

I finally got the Flawless Victory achievement. If you play the 2 mages, you'll have to move slightly on Arrowstorm, and even then, it got really close.

Did it with one mage on the high ground maxed out health, chain and magic. 5 warriors with middle one +2 shield and plus something damage

The 2 mages thing worked for me up till Level 5. It's just a matter of luck really.
