If you think 900 xp is a good haul; then you obviously have just started this game. Where I am at it takes 20+k just to level-up.

Am I the only one that never even came close to grinding and think the arcane levels are the easiest ones? Indeed, I just knew that you can repeat a level to get more XP after reading these comments...
Anyway, best TD without Path-building ever. Very deep strategy, specially with the anger system.

Just got to level 16, and endurance mode is awesome. Kind of agreeing with all the gripes about grinding, it does kill the TD genre. I wouldn't go and say this is the worst TD out there though, in fact, it's a big step up for all the extra effort put into the extra gameplay modes.

Wonderful! This game has instantly reduced my productivity... it is that good. However, it is difficult... you may need to play Chapter 1 first to get used to the mechanics... 5/5

You kind of killed the TD genre. There's no reason to play anything else when you could be playing this instead.
My only complaint is that playing the same level again gives more XP even if you don't be your best score. That makes it possible to just grind instead of relying on strategy.

There are some achievements that are possible, such as creating a gem of a certain level, or obtaining a certain score on a level, since that won't register from saves.

they could change the getting achivements to having to do a certian thing and if u alreay done it before the achivement you just have to do it agian (unlike usaly u just have to save it agian) so even if u have 100% completion you still have to be good enough to get the achivment

No UlicQelDroma there will be no achievements, this is due to the fact that you can copy a saved game and load it with a pasted code. This way, a 100% complete code would most likely (probably already happened) leak and everyone could get all badges in the blink of an eye.
Unless they come up with a way for the achievements to detect a copy-pasted save, there will not be any.

For everyone having trouble with grinding and grinding and getting nowhere much...check out a walkthrough at youtube and observe the skills selected. I was doing it massively wrong. Once I got that right, I swooped through about 15 levels.

Actually, I completely agree with Dragon. The first level is disgustingly simpler than the next. Maybe I'm screwing something up?

God, it's too hard to get started in this one. I did fine in the first one, but even after reading the strategy guide, I get absolutely raped everywhere but the first level, and it's always because I can't get enough mana to buy all the towers and gem upgrades I need. First one was *much* more enjoyable.

It actually does tell you the whole time about the gem bomb thing. You just have to hover over the gem bomb spell and it shows you all the things it can do.

SassehMonsta, with FF you are to install Adobe Flash Player separately, it really works, you should try it. arca9, you might find yourself using this thing lots of times in the near future :P

arca, later on it tells you that. :) wasgij, it doesn't tell you until a certain points during the game, confused the heck out of me at first!

I accidentally dropped a gem bomb on my spare gems and it turned the row the same colour, is that meant to happen? and if so why doesn't it say you can do that?

Aarrrgh It just wont load. It was working fine until about 20 mins ago, when another IE window I was using crashed and shut down all IE windows. I keep trying to reload it but its stuck on 49%. Refreshing and reopening the browser doesn't work. And dont tell me to use firefox as it refuses to download the addons for flash etc.
