It's worth noting that Darkgold's "super gem (SG)" strategy is extremely effective at taking your "SG" out of commission so that it can reload itself into its tower. This is especially inconvenient when you have several upgrades for your "SG" lined up and the monsters are streaming past without a break. There's a reason it's cheap. Personally, I would advise using multiple gems with this strategy to avoid monster overload when you need to upgrade. However, your gems will not be as strong when your upgrades are spread among multiple gems.

venmon, you only get experience for replayed maps if you beat your previous high xp amount. and then only the difference between the two.

You should *definitely* get some kind of experience for a failed level. I can not remember how many times I failed on the last or next to last wave only to cry "Noooooooo!...."

It's a little bit annoying that you get nothing for levels you've failed. Feels like a waste of time then. Beside that - great game!

Love this game, but it is bad for a perfectionist. I've already beaten it, but now I must beat every level on every stage and max every stat. Almost done with the first set of levels...

Wow, I've spent almost 2 years playing this game and finally finished it. The end is kind of disturbing... I feel guilty...

actually, 3rds badge difficulty is spot on, if played properly 3rd badge can be obtained within few hours of playing. 4th badge on the other hand is heavily underrated.

You can change gems' type if you preserve a pure gem of desired color and gem bomb your inventory with it. You'll spend 1.5x mana for this, but it's a replacement for being unlucky OR not having a certain color on the level.

i've just a question?.... why can't we choose gems that we whant to use????
it's impossible to winn if we're not luky because of this system and it's the only bad point i saw...

ok.. managed to beat it.. but it was mostly luck.. used lots of flexibility and hoped for orange gems when creating gems.. a few points in mana gain mastery... still i think nine out of ten times i will lose this way... but whatever.. i got the badge *runs to home to hide his badge in a secret place*

Any tips for the last map? i'm not even close to beating it... close to lvl 70 wizard while writing this.. i can hold on till 60th wave or something but the monsters have like 10k HP around there and frankly i can't beat them and craft the gems necessary to kill the beacon of gem of eternity..just don't see a way i can accomplish this even if i play with imaginary skill points i don't have. any help is appreciated

Grr just going back to this game, and realised I finished it on Armor Games and so didn't get the hard badges for it.. And then darn Kong doesn't let you load games from other sites.. :(

A simple change in the game mechanics would solve the "Never ends" idea . __ . like allowing the player to earn XP from replaying previous battles...
