To make clearer what I posted earlier - on the loading screen of a compass level, there are seven gem outlines shown – with C2 being the first gem and X7 the last. You only have to beat the field of the last gem you changed to grade 5. By starting at J2, you end playing the easiest field – E2. The puzzle is over when the fields no longer show gem outlines. The compass fields are (in order): C2, E3, J2, K2, O3, U4, X7. You must beat all these fields to play the puzzle. Start at J2. If the loading screen gem shows "level 1", click 4 times. Return to map. Reload J2. It should be correct. You do not need to play the level, If it shows "level 2", click it 3; Either it'll be correct or it'll show "level 3" in the next return to map; if so, click an additional two times. If it shows "level 3", click twice. Either it'll be correct or it'll show "level 1" in the next return; if so, click 4 times. If it shows "level 4", click once. Either it'll be correct or it'll show "level 3" in the next return; if so, click 6 times. If it shows "level 5", it's in the right position already. Don't click. Move to K2. Rinse and repeat each on each field, leaving E3 for last. Set E3 to gem grade 5 and beat the field.

Just saying now, don't spend all your skill points immediately. Unused skill points leads to a higher initial mana which can make the levels a lot less challenging.

The aim of the game is to put them all in grade 5, so you must first find out which jewel of the line corresponds to the field

Every click on the compass changes the grade of the jewel from 1. The trick is that this is always this order 5-4-3-2-1-2-3-4-5 .... so if your jewel was 3 and it has become 2 it must still clicked 5 times so that it passes to 5

In the game you click "Save to Clipboard", you open the notepad windows.
You do Ctrl + V (= Paste) then you save the file
To place it you do the reverse path, you open your save file, Ctrl + A (= select all) then Ctrl + C (= copy).
In the clipboard of the game ('Paste text here') you do Ctrl + V

I really hate when you need to pay real money to unlock a huge part of the game. I mean i get it, we wouldn't even have the game if it wasen't for this feature but still.. Great game anyways :)

Endurance mode really shouldn't be behind the paywall, if you want to make any progress leveling you need it. It can easily increase your level scores 5-10x.

Best game I've played on Kongregate. So much content, good gameplay, balanced difficulty, stellar ambient music. And it's not p2w, even though it may seem that way initially.

A cause de l'investissement pour la difficulté je pense.
Il y à tellement de possibilité (3*7*7*7*10*7...) qui modifie les vagues pour chaque champ qu'ils n'ont pas stocker toutes les possibilités.
Une équation calcul les vagues a chaque lancement et se calcul ne peut se faire que sur le serveur du jeu.
De plus il yà une part aléatoire dans le calcul des vagues car quand on recommence on na pas la même physionomie de vagues____________________________Because of the investment for the difficulty I think.

Moreover there is a random part in the calculation of the waves because when we start again we do not have the same physiognomy of waves

If youre able make a mana trap, it usually pays for it self quickly and after that it makes a lot of mana, when you have spare beam spells remove the gem from the trap andt put it in a tower with beam. it gives you a quick boost of mana. hope that helped.

A few tips:
If you want to lvl up quickly enrage waves by dropping gem bombs on the wave stones, the wave gets harder but you earn more mana and xp wich means you can upg your tower so that you can enrage more wich means you have more mana ans xp... you will be able to easily go to late waves on difficult maps and lvl up really quickly. i would suggest having one or two strong gems or a lot of poison gems in traps and if you use towers, make the monster armor slightly less than your minimum atk, if you use poison in traps make the monster hp equivalent to the poison effect dmg(poison ignores armor). When you get the bolt enchantment use it on a gem in a trap, preferably a yellow/red gem. then you have a low dmg gem that ignores armor which i didnt figure out until lvl 250. (seriously, i leveled up like five times minimum per level and right now i play on endless mode and earn 150 lvls per run.)

Came back to this game and I see kong has achievements for it now. Sweet! Question though... I can't get the easy badge despite having more than enough achievements unlocked. Even when I get new ones, it doesn't recognize it...help?

That moment when you know you're gonna lose, but still manage to hold on for longer than expected. You know, that one. It's been happening to me a lot lately.

The easiest levels are the levels that have both Crit (Yellows) and Armor Shredding (Purples). Simply set up your purples and stack them one or a few areas ahead the path, and set them to attack the highest armor enemies. Put your yellows almost at the end of the path, so that they can freely do damage and strike critical damage regardless of the enemies' armor. If the enemies have regenerative health, stack your suppressors (cyans) in traps to increase the ability effect. Poison works too.
If you want to use Blacks or Bloodbornes, then make sure that they're towards the beginning of the map, where the enemies would usually spawn. This is so that they get as many kills as possible.

Game is a huge step down from the last one. Gems are very weak, giants have too many hit points, and I honestly liked the simpler graphic and tile set of the other games. This game lost a lot of that charm with the "upgrades". Guess it doesn't matter as Game In A Bottle is no more anyway.

Since Kong doesn't allow editing of comments: Yes, V17 is the best core farm. It's quick, easy once you know how to do it, and like I said before, gives between 400 and 500 cores. I know cores aren't all that useful at high levels, but still, an extra SP after every two or three runs isn't a terrible deal, and you can run it at any level, since it's a vision level.
