i think it's hard at the beginning. first epic boss and first hidden level are pretty hard. the 2nd and 3rd epic levels and hidden levels i did glowing frame at first chance.

snails, gem bomb spamming. You create a crapload of lvl 1 gems, and fire them at bombs. You upgrade mana pool only, until wave 20-30. From there, just start building water trenches in between waves.
Send 2 or 3 waves at a time.

This game is fun, the best part about it is combining the gems to make new gems. Sometimes you need to think about which gem to put where. Very nice game.

i finally managed to beat the first epic boss without even needing to banish him,3 grade 6 gems with shock/slow did the trick(the circlular gems),i think there was splash(red) as well

I like making high level splash/chain over spamming splash/chain. When they are high level, good for near 1shoting common creeps, and good on bosses.

giliath:make 1 grade 8. when the distorted starts moving out of range, move the gem to the next tower. repeat. you SHOULD win. P.S. much easier with the beginner gems upgrade upgraded all the way.you're welcome.

if you want a gem that kills most little guys it would be red "splash" or go with lime "chain hit" they are the best two for the little guys but for the bigger ones use yellow because it can do triple dmg

if you normally combine gems of different types, it will get less strong than a pure one, if you master this your damage will go up

really good game. the isnt many negative things i can say about it. 5/5. didnt like chapter zero that much but it was okay. 4/5 for that one.

i got the make 125 gems and throw 75 gems in one game i just made one grade 5 gem then just grade 1 as bombs i threw 159 bombs

To those who are having trouble with epic boss:
Remember that part of the strategy in this tower defense game is letting some monsters through. Keep enough mana in reserve near the end to survive a hit from the epic boss. If he doesn't die on the next run through then you are doing something wrong.
