@ClainRPG: When making gems you have to click the square or above in the bottom right to create better gems. You could also combine two tier 1 gems to create a tier 2. :)

My keyboard strategy: left hand on keyboard using index finger for M (so I can cast Mana Pool as soon as the spell lights up), middle finger for G (Gem Combining), and ring finger on C (Create Gem).

I wish I could pick which keys do what. The spells each have two keys to choose from, but they're not near the Shift and Ctrl keys. Also, a key to speed up and slow down would be nice.

This game would be much easier to play if each gem had letter(s) stating what color(s) it is. I have to hover over each gem to see what color(s) it is.

to get extra points in the end: [3],ctrl+click on the lowest creating section, [6], ctrl click on one of the new gems aso. reaaly useful if u dont reach the glowing frame goal with normal kill+call early's

hiper, i was afraid i was aloen in the respect! ima ddicted to the gemcraft games but havent gotten past level 10 in any of them becvause, im addicted to early waves, and makeing my enemies stronger, adn combineing gems! its so compulsive, i almost cant help but do it!

Please add the option from the chapter 0 (or from other): "drop gembomb on the stone to summon more monsters", as that make game more addicting.

For the first epic wave, I found that, if you get lucky with making the high grade gems and get a purple, that's what really helps. Keep that on the epic boss as much as possible to whittle his armor down.

Ah, the games master of annoyingly difficult, and poorly rewarding. Its a fun concept, but he relies too much on you going back to replay old levels again and again; only to be thwarted by a hairs breadth. Perhaps I'm not skilled, or perhaps the game is just pointless.

jonny, you seem to be playing in relaxed mode yourself, this game needs some skill. Also, it can be passed up to 4th epic battle using ONLY gem bombing, and zero skill points. Just make a lot of grade 1 bombs, and boom-boom-boom. And, there is a way to pwn this game way earlier than at wizard level 40, this one is for you to find.

I like how the monsters are just so kind enough as to take their time to go way out their way on a twisting and turning path. When they could just walk straight to your building

Teeeeeedious. Very tedious. Gem bombing sucks and crafting isn't much better. I'd say it needs a lot of work, but if it came out in 2008 then it just isn't gonna get any better. Ah well. 2/5

The first boss is the hardest. Bomb small monsters, should get you enough mana to expand mana pool to 1.5x, use any orange gems to get you mana and damage, then at later waves, make 1 grade 3 gem and a LOT of grade 1 gems combine said grade 3 with all the grade 1s, watch its damage skyrocket ;)
