Easy, fun game once you get the hang of it. Just maxing out all levels on Kongregate, as I've done it before on other sites. [oh, you point system you.]
Here are some tips:
- don't worry about maxing out levels until you complete every one [excluding secret ones]
- don't do secret levels until you beat final epic level
- upgrade the dual gem spell and make good combos like a splashing poison [red/green], or a chain 3x [lime/yellow]
- splash is your bestest bestest friend. period.
- save enough mana at the end for the monster to go around again... hover over the monster to see how much mana it takes to send it back to start
- rearrange purple gems on epic bosses to hit it all the way around the course then let it go through again
- restart battles when you don't have the color you want

Its very easy- Just dont make dual gems..

Definitely an awesome game, but the difficulty curve sucks. Its nearly impossible to do the glowing frame scores when you first do a level and the levels get too hard too fast. BUT THEN...you hit level 40, immediately max out the high grade skill, and then go back and steamroll every level, gaining tons of points really fast and shoot up 30 more levels, making the last level almost a joke.
Still, for all the complaining its an awesome game, one of the best TDs I've ever played and Chapter 0 is even better. 4/5

w00t 5/5 gets a bit easy once you master the number of high grade gems you get... awesome game... best tower defence out there by far

Fantastic game, hard to fault it for graphics or playability: 5/5.
Everyone seems to have had some trouble with the first epic but I didn't have that much trouble at all. when the boss came by I had about 2800 max. mana but I think I lucked out because I also had 5 Lv5 Poisons, another 2 at Lv7 and a few mid Lv slows strategically placed, as well as a couple of other gems. Poor bugger didn't even last one cycle, didn't need to bomb it either.

Just a tip for those tuck on the first epic level. Build about 5 towers around the strat and just try and make high level gems. when it come to the epic boss. Build as many gems as possible and slot them in towers. Let the gems do their work and then is its still a live use your lowest - highest (orhighest to lowest depending how much time you hae) on bombing it. Too k me about 6 trys :)

I can easily get the glowing frame score on the final level, but I can't kill the boss.. anyone have any suggestions?

To beat the first epic lvl DONT USE ALL THE MANA AT THE END! u need about 7k mana to let the boss pass once. Then u should be able to beat him

the first epic level IS evil but maybe if you get glowing frame for all or most of the levels before and arrange your points, it should be possible to beat it. i'm still trying to get past it as well lol XD

well i freakin suck. I cannot beat the first epic level. I've tried about 30 times and am level 20, but still haven't gotten close. That damn boss beats me every time, if I can even get to him.

any1 notice that the first epic level is the gemcraft 0s first level only backwards, with buildings, and the towers are in different places?

If you love Tediousness, you love Gem Craft. And it gets even MORE tedious in the sequel!!! HOORAY!!!!!! Just Put "Mad About YOU" on endless replay, about the same effect, just HORRIBLE!. 2/5

Thanks for tips hadn't thought of putting towers at end of mission and then just letting all the monsters go. Instead was crowding the towers around the entry point! Monsters beware!!

zardozcs, if you want to get much more pts release all lvl monsters so they go all together and you'll get pts realy fast.

Yay, just completed the 1sy epic battle with 2 gems of level 7 and a whole bunch of level 5's! but still no glowing frames :(

yes wait some levels andu will be a lot stronger and have more mana to create a lot more gems that will bring u more and more points
