by third epic battle you should have level 40, so re-spec, and max out high grade starter gems, then once in the game, create a lot of grade 1 gems and combine your grade 5-6 gems with them, and watch them being powerful. Should take you straight through the rest of the game.

The duel gem mastery skill increases the skills (damage, range, fire rate) of gems thats a combination of 2 collors (there for the "duel" part).

you should keep high level gems in the first towers and in the last of level use gem bombs also use stones to make their way long

Great game. however the Mid-Game is way too easy.... basically as soon as I could get Med grade starrter gems and all the way to 4th last level it was glowing borders most of the time 1st go. And yes I too would like to see longer levels/enemy runs

I don't get it. First of all I can't place ENYTHING! and second of all enmy's are coming and
I'll probly die if I can't place enything at all so maybe I sugest these two series that I think
are pritty much easyer: cursed treasure,create your own tower defense. DEFNTLY HARD ITS SOMETIMES YOUR CHOICE NOT THE COMMENTS! but if I acully learn how to play I might post a next comment no bad words about this comment please.

This has got to be one of the best looking graphics I've seen on kongregate. im not so thrilled about the gem concept however the gameplay's good.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!! Only critique is the fact that you can't fuse between towers and cannot leave a gem in the tower (especially in critical locations) when fusing

Distorted is impossible, sorry to say. His health needs to be lowered a considerable amount. It's ridiculously difficult to defeat him at such an early part of the game.

Did the first epic boss at level 16- just make sure you have at least one purple pentagon waiting at the beginning and 5000+ mana to withstand 1 hit from the boss. When he comes and goes past your first few towers, take your purple pents and station them at towers so its always hitting him. Second run should be enough to kill him, if not bomb him till his dead.

Better comprehensible version of my last, weird comment:
You can easily get glowing frames in all levels before the first epic one by maxing out your gem bomb enhancement skill and related abilities, summoning many waves at once and spamming low-grade gem bombs.
That jellyfish thing was just an obscure reference; I didn't criticise this game or anything.

Max out Gem Bomb Mastery, Increase Mana Drop, Starter Gem Amount and Reduced Gem Cost -> screw towers -> let in all waves at once and overwhelm them with mass-produced gems.
In other words: Bomb jellyfish, because this game is silly!

Remember this is the first game of the series that went into production, so its mechanics and balance is less perfect than in the other games. I'm spoiled by both GC0 and GCL already, so I really miss angering monsters for more XP :)
