to get the Necronomiconquerer Badge - focus on what u need. If ur low heath boost heath first, and always boost arcane too, then attack....its all about luck but think about it and u will win, trust me, I got challenge 15 in the 4th try, the cpu will not always attack, if they get hurt on heath they will want to address that then win....

hmmm... I did a 26 and 27 damage attacks and still no medium badge. Is the point of the medium badge to get exactly 25 damage?!

I enjoyed the game, the challenges are just a sheer waste of time and no fun at all. 4/5 because the challenges are even in there.

A good game, challenges are luck based crap though and how many time am I gonna have to tell you people insane and crazy are not the same thing, trust me I'm insane so i know the difference.

For the challenges, I find it easier to look at each one as its own challenge, and play cards based on the rules for that particular challenge. The luck factor makes it impossible to rush through the challenges, but by taking some time solving each one, the impossible badge should be quite within reach.

Challenge 9 is really annoying you don't know if you try to cure the agoraphobia or just play with only two cards but in the end you couldn't do anything because you were too busy dying.

Games good 5/5 Since its challenging and the whole demonic feel is a nice touch.I have about 14 different Necronomicon books.I rather enjoyed it.

challenge 16 is sooooo stupid! :) how did this game deserve an impossible badge... i guess greg thought it was actually impossible

Nice concept art,nice gameplay that gets you addicted pretty fast,the normal mode is ok. If you want to make "challenges" actually challenge you,you must make every dealing deck able to twist things around in your favor. at the moment the only challenge in challenge mode is how much time you have to keep restarting until you get viable cards. Another improvement would be to be able to control wich card gets blackmailed,would help in mindgames etc. I would love to see a Necronomicon 2 because concept is great as i said,so are mechanics of the game.

This game is a perfect example of good potential gone horribly wrong. let's start with the AI. It doesn't exist and sometimes plays completely useless cards. Now for the game play, there is virtually no skill involved, just luck. Next, the subject matter... yea... what can I say about this... satanic is the word which pops into my mind. Fourth, the sound track. Just horrible. I've heard better musical scores in "The Creature From the Black Lagoon". Not kidding, I have. Moving on to graphics... well, I guess they could have been worse... I'm honestly at a loss for how to make them better.... And finally, the story line. What story line? In the end this comes off feeling like a really REALLY bad Yugioh take off... and Yugioh wasn't that great to begin with.

Aarg! This game had so much potential. But without the ability to design your own deck, it has little more strategy and all the luck element of the classic card game "War". Also, the AI is nonexistent and plays cards at random, oftentimes wasting turns playing useless cards. With its slick presentation and solid core mechanics, the foundation is there for something much, much better.

I personally loved the game. It may be a luck & chance game but i'm sure gettin' lucky and rocking at it. Almost have the Impossible badge.. Challange 16 is holding me up. D:

As a player of "Call of Cthulhu" back in eighties (yes I am ancient, or should that be elder ?) . I was pleased to see this. The gameplay is, to be honest, nothing more than fine, but I love the style, artwork etc.

this game is great (i may have reviewed this before,) a HUGE part of the game is the soundtrack, which literally evokes memories of the cthulhu mythos. basically, i am a huge nerd and love anything dealing with h.p. lovecraft, aside from his blatant and horrible racism. a suggestion for an alternate soundtrack: turn the sound off on this and listen to the theme from "tetsuo: the bullet man" by nine inch nails, just search youtube for tetsuo nin.

The impossible badge just takes time. I did it in two days. Once you know how to play the game well, it just takes time to beat the challenges because they rely 99% on luck. Challenge 2 took me 15 tries. Challenge 15 was the most annoying and took the most tries.

challenge 15 though.... ew.
i still don't know what was the coms 'invincibility in challenge 20 though, i did kill him with a Tommy gun though, so maybe it has to be a non mythos based attack.

pretty annoying that the Impossible badge is just based on luck most of the time..
You can't really be "good" at the game, it's just all about the right cards..
