Dear Gauls,
from March 1st on we, the gameXcite GmbH, have taken over operation of Asterix & Friends and we have big plans for the future that include new features and content. However, to lay the groundwork and due to the ending support of the Adobe Flash technology, our focus for the upcoming months is on re-developing the game client with the Unity Engine.
To ensure the smooth operation of the game, the game data have to be transferred to gameXcite GmbH. Insofar as personal data according to art 4 nr 1 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is being transmitted, it is being done so based on art 6 para 1 lit f) GDPR with the sole purpose of ensuring legitimate interest to keep the game running by us.

Chrome recently changed something so this might be the reason.
How to fix the problem: The game is not being displayed in Chrome
Some of you might have noticed that the automatic update to Chrome 80 brought some changes which kept many players from playing Asterix & Friends via Chrome. Instead of the game an empty page is being displayed.
We were able to locate the source of the problem and want to inform you on how to fix this issue:
1. Visit: chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies
2. In the line "SameSite by default cookies" (highlighted in yellow) click on the dropdown menu and set the value to "Disabled".
3. Restart Chrome to activate the new settings.
Afterwards you should be able to play Asterix & Friends via Chrome again, as usual.
Should anything change regarding this matter, we will inform you immediately. A big thank you to everyone who helped us by reporting this problem. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience!

This could easily have been my all time favourite game, but the completely inadequate storage limit makes it unplayable. Should you find a beet you can't keep it until you get a chicken; you have to sell it to make room for other stuff. Can't play like this :(

Usually plays well past few days. One quirk is that using mouse wheel to zoom in/out will also scroll browser window, so playing full-screen is better. But today it started doing the disconnect crash (wifi symbol, then eventually a Refresh button appears that does nothing) every time I click on the events button (treasure chest on left).

So, they allow to move the game(your progress) from Kong to Faacebook, if anyone interested in moving. No sorry, no we will do our best to insure it never happens again. Just. Move. I wave them goodbuy and quit...

They should give us an option to move our bases over, to facebook with everything intact. We spent hours, days, months, even years playing here.

I've wrote a post for tech support, hope it helps. But looks like the game duying here, on Kong, as it's perfectly accesibly through Facebook and GPlay, but as it doesn't let us to link accounts anyone will have to start a new.

There is one and only one single thing I would complain about this game: the rate at which we get salt and coal: They are well used resources but quite hard to get ...
Also, the only way I found to get them is to create tons on Menhirs so I can then mine
the rock for hope to get some of those resources. But menhirs are super slow to craft so it takes a while. Other than that, very nice game. And not necessarily pay to win!

It's an interesting game, but the time it takes to cradt multiple items and regenerate food is so slow, that it will become quickly more of duty than a fun thing to do. That is why I quit this game.

+ Craft/Fight/Manage resources
- Long waiting times
- Long regeneration time for food (eq. for energy needed to perform actions)
- Unmeaningful upgrades on some buildings vs. the amount of time/actions required to level it up
- Lots of inactive players around the map
- Unmeaningul and non-rewarding quests

It would be really nice when the number of clicks it takes for finding a boar decreases when leveling up: I found loads of the bastards and can sense their trails. Hope you can do something about it.

I have a big red arrow on my screen that won't let me click on anything other than buy a house. I can't afford the house. Won't let me X out of this option. The game is now unplayable.

Sometimes i cant play more then a few minutes because it says CONNECTION LOST, then i refresh the page and i takes a lot of time then i see all the game screen green and after 10-15 minutes i can finally play

what happens with the guild rewards and leaderboard? Second time that we get 'undefined' points and we're demoted one level.....

the most stupid thing is you need to craft same weapons all the time...all weapons need to be permanetly thing otherwise is just unplayable game...ty not for me..good luck all with this stupid game..

According to the top score list, the best players have reached level 62. However, I know that there are several players at higher levels. Why are these not listed?

I agree with @digideus. Pay-to-play piece of junk, I finally have enough resources and supplies after spending weeks accumulating to pay for a permanent outpost, !!!SPOILER ALERT!!!, when I find out it is a 2-part (maybe 3 part I dunno, never got past part 2) deal, pay the required costs (one tent, one rabbit, some lumber, a spear, a barrel) then the following dialogue box lists two choices, 40,000 resistance pts, or 6,000 roman helmets. Saweet!! I chose the helmets!! But wait, when I clicked on the helmets it said I did not have enough helmets to PAY the required extortion fee. WTF! Fuk this game I'm done. Unless you pay, you can't get no where.

How about letting us play the game ourselves instead of clicking a countless number of arrows, and not having a clue as to what we are doing? This kind of "tutorial" is no help at all. I need to learn how to play the game, not just being told to click here and there. What the heck good is that going to do me? After I am finished, I still don't hava clue as to what the heck this is all about.

The game would be nice (because of the theme, graphics, etc.), but the balance is nightmare. Moneyflow is to low, you must dig all the rocks to have iron and gold, all the other stuff is similarly only a 'chance', so if you need some kind of resource, you just waste your time for digging/mining all day until you run out of food. And these are not really rare resources in a normal word. Why not simle making farms for beetroots, etc? Why not have a hunting place for boar/rabbit, etc? Just go back to back all day to get some coins... meh... And the Romans... you can't win, because the come back within a couple of hours/days... To refight for the same places again and again... And the legions are coming again and again... meh... And there is some 'funny' stuff: snowballs... icicles... really? And you can't repair your weapons, you can't organise your 'army', just destroy the weapons... meh... Or you must open your moneybag a buy everything... does it worth?

*gets increasingly frustrated* Dear God, give us more food sources! Do you want people to play this or not? I love Asterix, and this game is very easy on the eyes, but you guys have to balance this out and seriously rethink your "greed first, customers second" mentality. This game *could* be great... but until it is, I don't think I'll be playing much longer.
