Ignoring that I personally never liked launch games in the first place, Launch games are worn out and overdone on this site. Even though your story concept is more clever than most, it is still just a rehash of the same crap game mechanics.

was good at first but got boring quickly as getting money for upgrades takes ages and you have to do the same thing over and over again without getting anywhere

ok slingshot/launcher style game but missing many of the elements that make them great. 3/5 oh and move that damn language menu
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, but could you take away the other hat when you buy the glass covering, it looks stupid with both of them on
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok you have to get to monney to make monney but what if you cant make it to the monney huh see thats this games problem
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That stupid ass drop down menu at the top of the screen has screwed me over so many times. 2/5 just for that menu alone.

I agree with infomage27, having side boosters as you're falling would be a huge improvement, as that's when you can actually know what to aim for.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
too random - yes, you can aim, but it's kinda meaningless since you have no idea what to aim *for*. side-boosters would be really helpful. (limited by some amount of time and/or number of uses, but WAY more than the vertical booster limit that's in place now)

What is wrong with me? I launch like 10-15 times hitting coins a bunch of times but never collecting them or getting any money. Is there a trick to it, or bugged on Firefox maybe?

1. It's "attempt." 2. "Iron" coins? Is this set in the Dark Ages? 3. Everyone who said "move the toolbar" and/or "increase money with altitude" is absolutely right; the latter especially is infuriating, as there's often little correlation between how far you get and how much cash you make. It makes the game needlessly grindy and repetitive; I got sick of it pretty quickly, and I'm a huge sucker for these sorts of games.

O...kay. How exactly is the total cash calculated? I mean, if I start with $15 left from the previous flight, get $139 flight cash, my total cash is... $135? What.

@SuitedStranger
I've reached the space debris with 5 fuel-things, your argument is invalid. And I didn't have the last engine or ship defence, I had the paper hat also that made me lose....

If the choices are 1>get to the party late and 2>get to the party dressed in a human size condom, i'm not sure i would be choose 2>. Then again, i'm not alien.

positive: music, upgrades
negative: menu-bar ( for that alone i should give you only 1 star >.< ), coin attraction isn't important, you always get the same amount of money it seems
all in all it's a 3/5 no more, no less

Fun and simple launch game but It's a little too challenging to get to the Shuttle section, even with all of the upgrades. Has anyone even made it to the "party"? I've only been able to reach the shuttle portion and there's apparently three more sections left...

The main element holding this back is the size of the screen and lack of aiming device. Now that I have all the upgrades, it's simply a matter of luck that a) I will hit enough boosts or b) I will hit enough extra fuel tanks to beat the game. If the screen was more vertical it would add an element of strategy to trying to aim/time boosts. Barring that, a steering mechanism is a must.

Game has a great deal of potential, just needs a little bit of work:
1) That menu bar is somewhat problematic, I know there's not any good place for it on the screen, so maybe changing its format might be of help.
2) Allowing an option to keep the aiming arrow during flight would be helpful for people who are having difficulty getting the aim right, while allowing people to keep the screen a bit less full, should they so choose.
3) A flight bonus would be wonderful! I've made it to the shuttle with under a hundred, and it makes the whole flight seem worthless. Or in light of that, make the magnet attract the other money, maybe with a distance decrease with increased value or something along those lines.
4) An "End Flight" button would make the game faster, and much more fun.
I know these are kind of big changes, but they turn what could be a 5/5 launcher into a 3/5 for me. Overall though, the style and the visual upgrades make the game a blast! Keep it up!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sucks cause you dont get flight etc bonus money, some times gets very high but seems to be possible to avoid all the freakin money!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Needs a lot of work. The run abruptly ending when you hit something is weird. Should at least be some sort of explosion to let me know I am done.

Pretty artwork but the game play is too redundant. There's nothing special about a game where we blast off a (penguin/turtle/demon spawn/ET) into low orbit. Suggestions: Add steering, add mute music, add cash for distance, lower cost for helmet. That should make things a little more rounded. Those are not original ideas, they're the standard set by other games in this same category.
