Good game.. Although should be balanced a bit more since the enemy is kind of overpowered after level 10. I've only gotten to 14 though, anyone can help me with that level?

Not so much difficulty curve as difficulty staircase... especially when it takes a few attempts to figure out the exact timing/trick. Still, it's a lot easier to work with than several other games I've played (Phage Wars, Dyson/Eufloria, ...).

I loved this game the difficulty curve at first I thought was insane but you just wanted us to use a new tactic! It works awesome and I really want another one of these.... and how about some badges Kong? Either way would like to see some more gameplay

i did lvl 10 without even taking the ant.
first take the closest spore, then take the blank embryo, then 1v1 it out with the lower red embryo, while the spore you took first keeps the ant from being taken. then get them all to either gank their last embryo, or take the ant.
PS: use your starting one to send more to needed places

alright, so I guess I have a cruddy laptop or whatever, but I swear to god this game fails now because of level 17. My cursor lags a little in game so I have to wait the precious extra second before I can cut the freaking tentacle and I get screwed every time.

For Level 10, I seriously don't see why it's so hard. Tip: Look at the population required to conquer each cell and the power you get from conquering. That 30 power embryo is worth taking.

5/5 Really enjoyed the game, and just the right level of difficulty. it was not so hard that i wanted to destroy my keyboard, and not so easy that i did not have to think. You just need to add some more levels.

Level 10 has serious balancing issues. The enemy is four times as strong as me from the beginning, and they don't get any weaker.

it's good but i wish there was more then one way to win a level, and on the later leves you have to be lightning fast to win

Wow screw this game, what kind of idiot makes a strategy/puzzle game that is 90% twitch without a god damn pause or slow down feature.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Let me put it this way. Games that take a specific strategy to beat, and nothing else works, are not fun in anyway. Doing the same thing over and over again, on a certain level just to do it "faster" is insanity. 1/5

great game, a bit short, and hard at first, i didn't even realize you should just make as many short connections as possible till i got to the last level, played it again and it seemed almost too easy

Cool idea but I found it way too hard. Got to level 11, tried it a bunch of times, watched the walkthrough a bunch of times and I still don't know what i'm doing wrong. Honestly you're just demanding a specific list of quick action commands at the beginning of the game that I haven't memorized and that isn't fun.

It is possible to finish level 17 with a laptop, but to do so requires extreme patience. You must slowly push the green cell closest to the red one toward the other end of the map, by ordering to extend a tentacle to the other green cell in the corner. Before it has a chance to attach, cut it off. You'll notice it moved slightly in the opposite direction of its tentacle. Repeat as nessasary until you reach the other side of the map. However, remember to have the third green cell off to the side to attach a tentacle to the forward cell you are moving, so that when you attack the red cell, you have reinforcements.

Don't rate down for difficulty of play. It's a nice strategy game, and it makes unit location more important than WHICH unit you take. Without enough power, you can't reach the enemy. This makes hiding in a corner a feasible option when there's 2 enemy factions. Wait it out, level up to their level, and start attacking when they can't counter you.

By the way... quick team trick is novel but it is frustrating and should not be something the player needs to figure out on his own. I had to watch the walkthrough to figure it out. Quick team trick brings an awesome strategy game into a crappy "how fast can you mouse click" game.

Predators are win, you get three of those out and you CAN'T lose. Seriously you just use them to make a triangle and you can not loose

Quick team trick : lvl 17 : hook up cell#1 and #2 to cell#3 when they all reach 16 units then extend the cell#3 to the enemy by repeatedly cutting and extending cell#1 and#2 tentacles. As cell#3 extends the cells occupancy goes to 0 but by repeatedly sending units from #1 and #2 the cell#3 puts more into its tentacle.

Ok, so from my experience playing this game, your microbes will evolve to the next level at 15, 40, 80, 120, and 160. They will devolve if they drop below 5, 30, 60, 100, and 140 respectively. So, for example, to get an embryo, you have to first get it above 15, then as long as you keep it above 5, it will stay an embryo. If you evolve your microbe, it will not reproduce faster, but its tentacle power will go up. Try not to overextend your tentacles or else you may devolve your microbe, making it weaker. If they attack you, if you don't attack back, they will continue to grow stronger while you lose power. Attack back if possible so you at least take down some of their numbers instead. I hope these tips help!

Wait about my earlie comment nvrmnd also @KDXX all you have to do is form a triangle connecting each node to the one in front of it

For people who for some reason can't beat level 10(wait til you get to 17). It's simple, take the one nearest to you instantly by cutting tentacles. Then immediately take bottom right and cut tentacles. You will have just enough to take over it before red even tries to take it. If you don't restart and do it faster.

The concept is great. Usually for this type of strategy game, it's just amassing units and conquering the most bases. The ranking/leveling system changes the gameplay and really makes it stand out as an awesome game.

The thing about this game is it doesn't explain anything. It doesn't tell you that streaming power doesn't cost power, just making a line costs power. It doesn't tell you that cutting a line will send the powers to the organism opposite to the cut. The game-play itself is fine.
