"Alright here's the plan. We'll never stay more than a day in any safe area, we will never wait for our healers to regain power to heal, and we will UNDER NO CONDITION USE A POTION DURING A FIGHT!"

Wait.. are you guys serious? I managed to beat an Pandora's Box and my rewards were... a consumeable, three greens and a purple? What's that? I though a Pandora's Box is a real challenge and therefor should have real good rewards...

i_like_stuf, there's no definite best class, but I think a set-up that will allow you to master the dungeons (not the survival mode) consists of a Warrior (damage & shield wall), two Rangers (huge damage, hail of arrows and stuff) and a Cleric/a Conjuror (healing [get your conjuror bloodsprite ASAP!]/reviving)
for the survival mode, you'll find Warrior, Cleric, Ranger, Conjuror very useful, if you buff your party completely on the first wave you won't have much problems until wave 40.

@Garin: I would like to share all the portraits I made, are the forums still working? Maybe you could post a list with link in the portrait tutorial on Byclops.com, I can send you my list :)

This is just an idea, but it would be good if there was a multiplayer gamemode where you could join a group of people online.

Tip: When you walk into an unexplored space, your characters will recover Health and Power (if they indeed have regen because of their equipment). Thus, if you have a choice between a battle, and exploring, do the battle first. Then, while exploring, you can regain Health and Power for your next battle.
Plus to keep alive!

oilstain, do you play with Attrition? You won't find any Portal scrolls in that mode, because you can't sell anything.

Has the bare minimums for an RPG to be addictive.
I've played it a lot!
I wish there could be random mini-quests, though.

Kongregate, GET RID OF THESE F*CKING ADVERTS will you? FFS, you cannot get onto a game because the button to skip is often missing and you must continue to refresh the page until no adverts appear before the game. Sort it out because it is so frustrating.

Oh yeah. There is an option when you start a new game which disables the shop. If you selected it, that might be the problem.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@oilstain, that shouldn't happen. Under normal circumstances, you should get one of them for every one or two levels. I would check your inventory and make sure you didn't pick some up without noticing.

Chassuro, you want a bad Pandora Box? Try 2 Minotaus, 2 Gorgons, 1 ascended human and 1 half-troll... My guys didn't live long enough to retreat T_T

@Mnwa, thank you for saying that. I've always been a huge fan of the Disciples series, and it's nice to see other people who have played it.

Now that's a pretty bad Pandoras Box... Two Gorgons, two Human bosses with Void Cannon, an Arch-Lich and an Half-Troll.

This game reminds me from Disclipes 2. The same kind of fighting there. Good game, good game (both Monsters den and Disclipes)! :D

Trying another thing I have not done yet... Let's see how far I can get with 2 clerics and two mages. This can be very interesting.

When in the Emporium, instead of clicking back and forth, you can press the item and then press the space bar, it goes waaaay quicker.

Sorry, but I hate this game, yes it's well though out, the art is good, elaborate gameplay, but it's just not that fun, and its repetitive, and its repetitive, overall, its a good game, just not that fun.

So, when you combine a really high lethality rate (mine is 77%) with a mage's "Electrical Storm" attack...the results are pretty awesome. That move hits every enemy at once, so yeah =]

A way to defeat the corruptor: with the mage cast freeze and wait for stun it, with the barbarian use pulverize, then with the warrior use power attack and with the cleric cast smite.

the hardest survival wave is 16 (or every 20 after, 36, 56, etc). 3 dwarf veterans in front, 2 crowwbow & a runecaster in back. ouch. the veterans all do hammer smash, which pretty much will stun all your frontliners not resistant to it. then the crossbowmen make sure to kill your cleric with their overpowered attack, and finally the runecaster gives them all massive defense. have some massive buffs beforehand and make sure that you just had a character with 30 or less speed end the fight that was right before

i think in the 3rd monsters den they should let you not only play the godfall campaign but also let you play the first 2 campaigns as well just like book of dread lets you play the first campaign. oh and does anyone have any idea when godfall is comming out?

try getting all of your chars blinding above 80. not even bosses can block the blindness. it makes pandora's box a lot easier.

the bandit group would have people like Bandit Archer (archer), Highwayman (warrior), Bandit fighter (kinda like a warrior but has lighter armour and uses his fists as his weapon), Bandit medicine man (healer), Bandit Rogue (rogue), and for leaders they would have like a bandit chief or sumtin like that.
