I don't know why but i can't just use a custom portrait.... even if i write the URL the image doesn't appear and when i start the game every charachter have got the "standard knigth" as portrait....

While this is a good game, the lag issue needs to be resolved before it gets badges. The lag causes some serious hindrances to gameplay.

Great, now every character has straight 1s for stats when I start a new game. I even deleted my first save (the only one with real stats) without effect. :/ Something's broken.

How are starting character stats determined? I just had all four characters start with 1s in everything. I'm hoping that's a bug...

whats the point of the gold? sorry, but i'm impatient, and i've only just started this version so I want to know if i should hoard items so i can sell them on (if this is possible)? and if i should, then when do i get the chance?

STRATEGY IS THE SAME AS PREVIOUS GAMES:
Have a meat ball in the front to take big melee hits, in the back have mage or archerer to do mass attack, just level up at first, until you get down to lvl 5, when you should have all speed items to get your speed above 60, so you can do attack. If you have a cleric, use the spell that gives 175% attack damage plus, and put on mage or archerer, then let him attack. All your characters will attack before enemies have a chance.

I just love this game to bits, and getting crushed again and again in extreme mode is just breaking me into little pieces... (is emo, and I just made a three-way-pun)

Zakini - Yes.
Which means that you can't just waste those scrolls. In extreme mode, you absolutely have to fill up your inventory as much as possible, THEN use the scroll to unload all your items for cash.
After that you load up on nice items, get overconfident and unlucky, and lose to the boss you decide to fight on that level. *cries*
I've gone mad playing this game... I wanted to do it more discreetly and more constructively, but... I've gone absolutely mad *cries*

Hey Garin!! Since you're on here reading comments, let me just say that I think your games are awesome as I stated in a previous post, I do have 1 suggestion about the new one...I like the new buy/sell thing, and granted I just started, but maybe instead of need a scroll to go to the shop you can automatically go there between levels or something, just an idea, thanks!! keep up the good work!!

Blimey Sooty! If you want to rant to that extent can you go and do it in a forum or something? Or send garin a message with your suggested improvements (preferably in a less aggressive than the one you've been using here).
Anyway, the real point of this comment is: where's the shop? Can you only get to it with those scrolls you pick up?

Sigh. I just wish there were more ways to get farther in the game other than 2clerics2rangers in the dungeons and 2clerics2beserkers in survival.
The skill involved here - the squeezing of every bit of advantage from every tactical situation by buying the right equipment, fighting the right enemies, placing characters in the correct position etc. has all been usurped by the contingent need to picked the right characters in the first place.

Great game, I dislike the fact that your success depends so mutch on the classes you take. 2 Clerics and 2 Rangers can get you really far. While other combinations using various classes will force you to restart when getting in the higher levels because it'll get impossible.
Still a great game, some great improvements and I like the new passive skills. Fantastic tactical RPG.

Sooty, I really think the problem is that you've got your heart set on playing on Extreme for some reason.
It's meant to be very hard, and it IS very hard. I don't recommend playing on that setting. It's for maniacs who relish the challenge, just as it was in the first game.
