How the hell do you beat the Hydra?
I kill his heads and he regenerates even more of them! When I attack the actual Hydra he just heals immediately!

TEMPORARY BECOMES PERMANANT gives you two potions that give a total of 20 stats between them. SOMETHING MUNDANE BECOMES EXTRAORDINARY turns a -NORMAL- item into a unique (don't use it if you don't have a normal item). SOMETHING MAGICAL... gives you a unique enhancement orb (i.e. stun resistance, +20% bonus to all effects)

riderfan - temporary become permanent gives u i think i random orb that increases 2 stats by 5 permanently. there are also magical orbs of enchantment you can get...

Nice improvements.
The new classes are very nice, and so are the Legendary Monsters (a bit too rare, though... only met 1 before killing the Dreadfather and I cleared all floors completely).
But the "Book of Dread" received upon defeating the Dreadfather is a poorly tought-out item.
Very few can actually use it, be it "tank" Warriors (can't afford to lose the Shield), Mages and Conjurors (need the Staff)...

oh bye the way my sugestion got me to lv 36 so it workes it is have 3 people that can atck from back row mage ranger or conjurer in back row and either a barbian or warrior in front row and i own with that

Level 11 atm.. got some sick dudes and got the recommandation from some dude in the comment thing here.. All group kill skills with mage 2 clercs and a hunter. its like booom booom boooom :P

hihot: what classes are you using? The early floors are usually really tough with no healer, although enough passive heal makes it much easier later on.

(6) Why do items in the party's inventory keep disappearing (not on party death)?
(7) Wow: Stuns will rock the socks.
(8) Make the merchant guy always have at least one scroll to sell that would allow the party to get back to him, please?
(9) WTF happened to Clive Winston? [obligatory Zero Punctuation reference]
(10) Please add a "beat level five without any Clerics" badge.

(1) I just had a character die as I was moving equipment around. This was a bit suprising.
(2) Also, Garin... why can't my Cleric heal people when he isn't in battle?
(3) Uhhh... I have Revive, why can't my Cleric wake people up outside of battle?
(4) This game seems like the number of Clerics in the party has a massive impact on difficulty. This game would be extremely difficult without any Clerics in the party at all, & far easier with two or three.
(5) Please either add an in-game manual explaining the stats each class has & what they do or make understanding the in-game stat block easier. There are things that change when the four main attributes change that are not mentioned in the tooltips.

I am startled by this game's continuing lack of badges. Since nearly everyone here appears to love it to bits, perhaps we should make our desires more clear.

Great Game all around, especially after the lag tip. There was just one thing i wish i knew in game, for the Ranger's Hunters Prowess Ability, i never knew it did double damage to creatures [greebler, basilisk, gargoyle], and Monsters [arachnoid, poison/storm drake], b/c the description only says creatures.
Could have saved me about 4 deaths, but other than that beastly.

4. Add additional events to every floor, where instead of having just one special event every other floor, we could have 2 per floor? That might give us the illusion of achievement, even in tiny sums.
5. The inclusion of half-bosses, where the creatures probably contain some annoying or debilitative qualities but are not entirely hard to beat, for some moderate treasure
6. Introduce the presence of some overland tiles for some alternative graphics
7. Possibility of including set items in the programming logic?
On a whole, well done mate! It's sucked up a great many hours off my life :D

I am hoping that some of these comments might help inspire you to create a sequel or yet another expansion to the game:
1. Adding more mythical creatures or bosses, like the Colossus or perhaps a Giant Serpent
2. Adding another resistance quality called magic resistance?
3. Adding an overland tile which has the players traveling upwards instead of downwards in a new campaign? (e.g. Climbing up a mountain-faced dungeon or tower)

Fantastic Garin. Absolutely great. Played the first one over and over, so glad to have the new one out. Even better than the first, which I doubted could happen. Keep making great games like this my friend. 10/5 for a fantastically put together and deep experience.

Yeah, there were female characters in the first game. People may only be noticing it now because the default gender used to be male, whereas now the starting gender is random.

Marcacac: You access the shop by using a teloport scroll. It is the purple scroll.
