i havent even played this game, but due to the fact it dosen't have sound, im going to. sound is a waste - just put itunes on and play your own sound effects to the dam game.

Many people have said this and i agree we need a pause button.
AUTOSAVE function when you reach a planet, i can't say how pissed i was when i lose half my data.

This game is great, but it needs more planets, bad guys and items for trade. By the time this is finished it will be amazing.

Love this game!!!
MY suggestions for improvements would be to add HP indicators for enemies, and add a "run" option... like take a certain % of damage to not fight.
5/5 anyways though!!!

First, Enjoying the game.
What I would most want to see (hear) added to this game next would be some sound affects.
Second, add an armor upgrade and allow shields to recharge over time.
Third, would be some way to actually fiy the ship during combat.

It's getting better. Hopefully when you get to version 1.0, you'll remake this game and it will get a very high rating.

Ok, so I accepted a few too many missions, and I had ~8 pirate attacks travelling between one planet and another. Worst part is, I couldn't pause. Add a pause button!

I'm impressed by the 3D graphics. Very few flash games have them, but you really need to add textures. The graphics look crude the way it is now.

It looks great, but essentially what you’ve got is a ‘Duck Hunt’ style shooter, spread out by footage of ship flying.

Great flash mockup of Escape Velocity. Fun and easy to get used to. Definitely has TONS of potential in future updates. Couple that with an on-top-of-things developer and you have the makings of a fantastic game. 5/5 Terry S

It's very, very well made - I didn't know you could get games to look like that in Flash, but... There's nothing fun about it! *Click* buy goods, *click* select destination, *click* wait for ship to fly itself there, *click-click-click* shoot some asteroids... games kinda boring. Not even as deep as other trading games. This one also has worse graphics.
Knowing imports/exports of other systems and shift+click makes the game too easy also.

Hm, I've updated to 0.0.7.0 but some files don't seem to have updated so neither of the new missions are working for me. If anyone gets the new missions to work let me know as I don't know if I've not updated it properly...

Needs a bit of touching up. The econonmy based gameplay is fine, but it is annoying to go anyhwere without running in to asteroids or pirates. You can't avoid them either. Nothing really feels new when you go to a new planet. In caravaneer, you felt some reward for getting to a city alive. Here you don't control anything. Plus, no sound doesn't help much. 1/5

I've updated to 0.0.7.0 which introduces two new mission chains both of which give you really nice upgrades which will hopefully help you out. Also fixed a couple of glitches with fighting and made random fighting happen a little bit less. If you don't like random fighting I really suggest you get to level 3 then do the mission chain at Maru...

i would like to see different difficultys tho :) 1 difficulty doesnt have much of a challenge after a while... this could be the normal setting ... easy has half health ... and hard has double health or something :)
like the idea of the game tho reminds me of smugglers 3 :)

Too many random encounters. gets aggrivating when it takes 10 mins to travel between planets b/c you keep getting ambushed.

Very nice game. If the "things out of the screen for ages" were solved and sounds were added (and some music maybe) it would be a 6/5 game!

it tries to combine "caravaneer" and "starfighter: disputed galaxy" while throwing in 3d (because everyone loves 3d, after all). the result is a fairly crappy game that reminds me of the slowest moments of caravaneer and starfighter. but at least it's 3d, so the graphics are amazing. *cough*

Hockeyknight2008, you've played Spacebucks too? This is kinda an RPG-style trading game - Spacebucks, I'm afraid, isn't... but I would SO want to play that again.

it seems rather unfair when
there are pirates that attack the second that the battle starts-- ie they are already firing before you can do anything against them and plus sheilds don't regenerate between fights so...

like everyone says potential excellence, thank you for the game, and keep updating!!!! Once you get it rolling this game should have its wn website! I know how difficult flash game making can be from experiance, but you've got the big deal right here !

Good start. Random event generator needs tweaking. On the 2nd trip to that welcome mission i got 2 roids and 1 pirate ... Kinda boring when all i want to do is trade a little.

wunderful game, the next big thing, more upgrades though. like alot more, like yes missiles, but maybe so many they have thier own hotkeys. but still 5/5!!!!!!!!!!

People that say "it sucks" or "boring" it's because they don't like the "space trader genre". It's not your fault, so don't worry about those critics. I think the game it's very good. Accomplish the objective of the genre and the 3d graphics are very cool. Also, I appreciate that you're updating the game often. 5/5.
