how the heck this make the front page, i give it 1 star. trucking goods here is way too monotonous and theres really no battles or missions worth building up your weapons and stuff for, the 3d "battle" interface isnt just boring, it barely qualifies as a mini-game, but when u have to face bloody pirates ~12 times just to get to one level 2 planet on a mission its utterly pointless

The combat gets really repetitive; it could use a few different weapons, and a couple of new types of combat (pirate mothership?).

This game is alright, though it gets boring quickly. Needs sound effects, and when you upgrade your weapon should change. Also would like to see more thought put into the fighting, something like you being able to move.

Well, I've gotten some extra story missions. They're not too involved, and it seems a little too easy to build up your ship, but otherwise this is a decent sim, balance notwithstanding :)

The concept is nice, I enjoy the space fighter genre, however this seems to really be more of a simple tech demo just screaming to be fleshed out. I find the game play repetitive and disengaging.
It's pretty much Freelancer dumbed down.

i do not like the game much at all it is quite to easy the game play isnt that much fun the battles take no skill at all i left my screen for ten minuets in a fight and i was not dead when i came back i proceeded to kill all of the people and i still lived. the game is a boring somewhat copy of caravanner if you like this game you will love caravanner try it out.
2/5

I like it. Has the potential to become on the level of Elite or Starcon. I didn't play far enough in to see, but is there a set of story missions to do beyond the "Welcome" series?

I got attacked by pirates four times on the way to Maru for the first time. It looked like it was just the same sequence repeating over and over.

tough. But a solid game. I give it a 4/5, because there's a pretty major combat bug. While in combat, your lasers, if they miss, will continue to diminish until they disappear. Regardless of whether an enemy is in front of them or not. This makes it very difficult to tell where to aim. Still, solid.

I love the graphics, but I can't say that I much like the combat system. Something more similiar to a dogfight would be preferable. Even sidescrolling combat would be nice.

its fast between planets one u do the special technology quests it doubles your speed. then its easy. i like the game a lot

This game is almost entirely plagiarized from the Escape Velocity series. My question is this: How do you rip off a TWELVE year old game and still wind up with something that is less fun to play with than fecal matter?

this starts out way too hard
i mean 2nd level, pirates, asteroids, pirates… all while my lasers are weakened
GAY
so trade get food and go and trade at the colony get metals and go to the area and repeat and u will get lots of money

Maybe you should just call it Space 3D until you add some more features to the game. You know, like sound... better graphics, more dynamic controls... stuff like that.

got bored before i even started playing. i cannot believe this has such high ratings....... retards have to ruin everything......

Yeah, it's just like Eve Online. Except minus everything that's cool. Nice idea anyway, but way too boring as it is. 2/5

4 out of 5, there's all the components of a decent game here, but it is repetitious. Except for the ability to turn your ship during combat, and relatively ugly graphics, not all that different than a lot of games over the last few years that would have set you back some bucks . . .

It's so boring after some time...
I got upgraded, pirates got better. Earning cash is way too easy, so I have all the upgrades. Pirates and asteroids - that's all? Really, basic concept is quite good, but it needs some improvement.

ZombieDraxx...
maybe if ud just pull your finger out and get the introductory mission done you would have noticed that afterwards you can trade freely!

Is there any story mission after birnging the valuable technology back to Froklo and I'm testing it?
Needs homing missiles (or other secondary weapons), pause button, sound.

I hate how you are FORCED to do the missions, you can't just go around trading. No, "You might want to look at the missions before you launch." thats lame...

I have to agree that this is extremely similar to Ambrosia Software's "Escape Velocity" line of games. EV series does have better graphics ... but other than a few small differences ... Super Space 3-D is nothing but a cheap knockoff.
Sorry to say so ...

Wow, a flash version of Escape Velocity, who'd of thunk it. Go get Escape Velocity from Ambrosia software, its this time 4.9 billion.

This game is really fun, and it is even more fun when you stream some music from bluemars.org. I'm liking the cryosleep.

Everyone's a critic and I agree with AppleJordan, this is an excellent game (so 5/5). Very good game layout and concept - map, trading and mission sections! For expanding: definitively alternative ship selections (max out a certain upgrades? or travel speed/defense vs. attack power/cargo?) would provide more "RPG" and different colors, shapes and quantity (double, triple?) for the attacks would make the weapon's upgrade feel better. I like the fighting simplicity so adding to much moving might take away from the game's goals. I can't wait for the second release!!

I love space trading sims, although this one's a little too basic for my tastes. You should mention that the 'quit' button also saves your progress... saving is really important in this kind of game.
