its like an updated version of war of the prefectures this one is better in almost every way. detrements are less unit types when you capture a player teritory even Base structures are removed eg. dragons den losing den through capture and no stratagies. in every other way this is better 4/5.

oh! another, score more based on number of turns taken in a level rather than amount of time taken..I never have to worry about loosing troops in a turn cause I can just waste them and move on with new ones..makes it more interesting if there's a penalty for taking too many turns

Orc's archer unit seems to be the best unit in the game. Playing as dwarf and I have to target Orc first in every level. Wonder how hard it's going to get.

great game but there is room for improvement. some being to make the dwafen dragons stronger please as the cost for them is not worth it (they just look cool on the field). room for more upgrades perhaps even an option to cast spells when you want during a battle, after buying them of course? one more thing that is jusst of my own thought but how about depending on the land/area of the battlefield different units are effected by posistive or negative stat boosts and/or the enviroment itself could be damaging to your units (and the enemies) e.g volcano eruption- rocks fall randomly around the arena hurting or killing anything they hit.

On the level 17, if playing dwarves and you have the orcs flanked on their original base (bottom left), if you attack them from all 4 sides in 1 turn, the game stops in the fourth fight. EVEN IF YOU SELECT THE SYSTEM TO CALCULATE THE FIGHT, it sends you the battlefield arena and freezes. It's not my computer or net connection (they reaaaally kick ass), it's the bugged game (and this is another reason of why it keeps losing rating...).

i just had a glitch where all the enemies where like archers and i shot for them and none my guys moved at all and my huge towers wouldnt but also free win wasnt attacked at all BTW drawves are the best

Damn how come most game makers on here don't understand the concept of a difficulty curve? Got locked into a stalemate on the very first level lol. They just produce too much crap for me to make any progress but they can't beat me either. I'm not even going to spend time trying to play this game if it wont even let you learn it.

if you're new your new you should be humans.. if you're an orc get big armies to win. and your a dwarf be very tactical

The game has great potential. However, I really think there should be a few more units/buildings. Maybe you should also make it possible to build several of one type of building (though that might make spamming lumber mills the way to go). Also, it'd be really cool if you gave ranged units more speed so you could micro them around to hit melee-ers without being hit themselves. It requires more effort, but it'd make skill a more important variable in the game.

i accidentally clicked 'automove,' letting the computer try a move for me, and it suicided, and now i have to restart the scenario. the automove button needs to have an 'are you sure?' confirmation box, or a way to remove it, or something, because it always suicides.

Wish there was more upgrades or something, it gets tedious. I'm on level 10 and i've only lost 1 territory the whole time. I'm dwarf and tried building some of the other troops (gargoyle, bomb, dragon) but no point. I just build basic dwarfs and attack people. The only upgrade I buy is the one that gives me more money. If I happen to lose a fight i just build 12 more dwarfs and then attack the next turn. They can't build enough defenses to stop me. Kind of cool game, but gets realyl boring. But 12 dwarfs, attack, repeat, win. Do this all again for 20 more levels...

For those of you who don't think fighting battles is worth it: it is possible to micro one group of 10 archers against 4 full groups of any melee unit and not lose a single archer. Doesn't work if you're attacking towers though.

found a glitch! They send 4-5 of their units to attack me but when the battle is over and I beat them, they only loose 1 from the region they came from! Second one, they attacked a territory with 2 units and won, but when the battle was over, they had 4 units in that territory?? WTF?

This was a fun game, right up until the CPU starts miscalculating battles on a regular basis. It's a bit odd because it comes right out of nowhere. All battles up until this point were properly calculated (IE, 12 units of orcs and harpies are not capable of defeating 12 units of dwarves). Then all of a sudden 10 units of orcs/harpies defeat 11 units of my dwarves, who ALSO had a fire dragon defender? Fail.

It would be nice if there were some way to know what the troops did and their stats instead of having to guess that more expensive means better

fix it so you can cancle a command and get rid of that stupid auto command button at the bottom. its cost me many losses when it was accidently hit.

The actual battle interface where you command units could use some fleshing out. It can be very difficult for me to micro-manage my units (like telling them to attack a group or attack-move) and there have been several occasions where I want to have all of my units stay in one spot instead of charging blindly into battle but getting them to listen to me took forever because I had to order each individual group. Maybe have a "battle plan" stage before combat where you can issue orders for your units to obey when they go into combat? Say something like "all orcs stay behind the towers" or "all gargoyles go after the demons"?

Resurrection Center + Grenadiers = awesome
I love watching them suicide bomb just to spring back to life. I had 1 grenadier blow up 4 times before he stayed dead. haha

The problem with this game is that the unit's effectiveness does not scale with the cost, making cheapest unit (at least for dwarf) the most useful in every situation.
