GameTommy, I remember when there was no preview of a week's BotD. You had to HOPE you had whatever ones they implemented that week. Once in a while, there would be a Hard (maybe Impossible) badge on a day for BotD that obviously would have had to take far longer than the day you'd have to get it, even if started just after midnight.

Probably the worst botd pick of the week, this game is sloooow 3 days in an not even close to the "medium "achievement" almost immediately the numbers become so large it seems stupid. Great game if you want to waste your time on pointless trash this is it!

something is odd with the (cloud or local?) autosave. I unlocked the 6th hero yesterday and played with it some time. But every time I load I get set back to the 5 heros I had before yesterday.

Some people are complaining about this game being too hard for a medium badge. It is a medium badge... if you start on it on Monday. Kongregate does occasionally have time consuming idle game badges on Friday-Sunday, and this is DEFINITELY an idle game. If you played for 10 minutes each day Monday-Thursday, you should easily reach level 100 today. If you waited until today to check the BotD though... then yeah, this is going to be VERY hard. I can only suggest doing what myself and others have been doing for years and that is always check on Monday every BotD for the entire week and work on any idle games on Monday so you'll be done by the time the respective day arrives that you need to have the badge done for.

This is ridiculous for a BOTD game - it's taken an hour just to get to Floor 20. There's no way I'm spending the time to get to Floor 100

A little too late, but 1 warrior as tank (mostly health), 4 clerics (only healing) and 1 ranger (only damage) works wonders.

how do you expect me to get to level 100 in a day. alot of the games this week for BOTD have sucked and now so does this one. now I have to grind this game all day just for some crappy badge

This game getting 3.9 stars is crazy. This is the most bare bones RPG. Taking all the fun parts out of it and adding prestiging mechanics to try to make up for it.

To anyone just coming for the BOTD, I started a few days ago and was at level 60 and struggling yesterday, then I started reading through the comments for advice and found some good ones. Try different groups of heroes and make use of either the paladins ability to boost stats with morale, or the clerics ability to boost with overheal and blessing. I tried a ranger, 4 x cleric, then ranger grouping and went to level 148 quite rapidly. Other people have suggested using warriors and paladins. Read the info in the heros and armory tabs and try out some different hero teams.

Oops, disregard the previous message. I meant the Ascend tab. I've gotten to prestige level 19 but I still haven't found an option. It only says my Ascension is 96%

Whenever I get near or over ee10.40 prestige points, prestiging stops working more than half the time, and I keep losing progress. I don't know if I can advance past this if this glitch continues.

"Finishing it the first time is very hard, but it becomes much easier with some ascension upgrades"
After two months getting to the point of being given a trail and then failing time and time again, I'm gonna' pass.

Oh yeah the floors and levels get big. Floor 1e1886? That's level ee2493. We love 10^(10^(2493)) that's a very reasonably sized number

@zKiros: That's nothing. I've reached floor 1.78e20 (after many months, maybe even a year of playing). There's a lot of new mechanics, you'll see

Does anyone know how to trigger the badges 'Layered' and 'Upward Climber'? I have surpassed them by quite a lot, but nothing seems to happen

I was working on this a few days prior and i noticed a much faster gain after i looked at a guide that someone had made. Not sure how fast one can complete floor 100 from a fresh save but auto buy options and only leveling up exp gain and damage will be what helps get through the levels.

Offline progress cap
Offline progress requires you to be on the battlefield tab to actually process, processing takes forever for something that could have just been background calculations, far far too many levels of "prestige" "ascend" "transcend"

Has anyone ever bought the 2 hours of offline progress for 10 kreds or 8 hours for 30 kreds? Might as well do anything else and come back 8 hours later to save $3.

2 hours offline progress made me from floor 25 to floor 63. lol. (Level: 8.90e13- Prestige layer 3 point 6 Highest Floor: 63)

why does prestigeing break at like every custom setting? i tried to give each layer a different spending multiplier to hopefully make the prestigeing go for lots of different layers cause it never feels like it picks anything but 1 or 2 on "biggest stat gain" and on "focus on high layers" it basically only picks 3 or 4. am i dumb, why does auto prestigeing act like this and why does it just not do anything when i did that?
