The weird thing is how forgiving the game is when you run out of coins. You can spend 15 people/15 happiness for 250 coins, while spending 20 coins for 10 happiness and getting free 50 people per day just for having relatively high happiness. You can just spend a thousand gold into the red and have no downside. I suppose that makes the game enjoyable, albeit impossible to lose.

So simple, yet so great!
I wished games like these would be badged instead of all those stupid multiplayer games.
Games in the style of this one made Kong great... I wished they would still be the main part of it

Does the "Gold Machine" quest ever pay off? Gave them all the money and people they ever asked for, but got to the end and the machine was never operational.

I might have sold some of my subjects souls, but at least I didn't raise the taxes. That moment when you realize you're a conservative.

5/5 for Me, the only thing I would improve is adding quests and objectives as to make the game longer and with a bigger purpose than joining the Council, (and ability to track some individual's personal quests, ex: the treasure box to return him back to his former self and break the curse, etc...)

The prices for hair cuts in my kingdom was astronomical, but as long as I kept those three barbers happy by repeated prices hikes everything was fine in the kingdom. Except perhaps the hairs of the middle class.

The 50 pop growth per day limit only served to make the game drag on and on. After hitting 700 I never had a day where my pop grew by less than 50.

I can't stop playing this game. Every time I say, "After this day i'll stop," a new reason for me to keep playing arises. It could do better with more features, such as a task manager that reminds you of events (such as sending the knight out then he arrives 3 days later and you're like, "I sent this guy out?").

I'm so happy lol I love sort the court. I hope they make a sequel because I will GLADLY buy it. I've been playing this game for a year and I legit spent about 10 hours straight on one of the first versions of the game. I later found out that It didnt even have 10 hours of content and THAT was why no new stuff was happening. Nowadays it's got so much more and is still as beautiful as it was before.

So it turns out you can easily run out of money, but it's hard to lose the game in any way. After I joined the council and got my money-making machine, I tried to turn evil, but the self-sustaining policies I'd put in place before just made my people happier and happier.
