It would be nice if there was an option to make the royal adviser your queen after you get the romance option finished

I'm sure there are a lot of ways to get different results but here are a few:
Always let the kid go exploring. Doesn't cost anything and I'll usually get gold from it and sometimes population growth.
Always let the knight do missions. Even split between gold and pop growth, never seen a negative result.
Ghost asks if this is a castle. Yes gives +1 happy, no has no result.
Keep the robot around. When he leaves he will give you a cog. Don't sell it, let the blacksmith take it and he'll make a sword. Let the thief take it and she will defeat the dragon.
Yarno is the real assistant.
When the thief wants to steal - you'll get gold and a small happy hit.
Let the barber raise prices. You get gold and happy.
Old lady wants to give you profits, say no and you'll get a happy bonus.
Tea will give you a small happy bonus but will eventually cost money.

I wonder how much money we made from EVERY single time that mouse, monkey or WHATEVER gave us... Like those 5 gold coins. It's 1 million, but we have to do more research! LET IT BEGIN, PEOPLE OF KONGREGATE!

How popular is that butler dude, anyway? He's been to, like, 100 parties by now. And I've probably spent more on feeding that cat than for the common good. And the grandma keeps calling me "dearie" while everyone else calls me "madam"... and I've completely lost my trust in her. She always asks to "borrow" coins to buy newspapers... and never "pays me back"...

The gold generation machine is not a scam. It sometimes gives +60 or +150 also. Just don't grant the scientist additional funding for ridiculous amounts (the 100g one is fine imo)

To be honest, I didn't think I'd see this magic go bad, then good, then bad, then good... then pull a demon's crystal to be discarded, then cause an all-seeing eye to make me feel unlucky, then a knight finds a chest that then brings a 700-gold price Jester, to bring (...)

it starts off fun enough but after a while things just slow down with the same types of commands appearing every single day.

Why does everyone come to you asking for money when they can go work for it? I am starting to think they are tricking me.

When you accidentally press 'y' when the knight asks if he should rot in the dungeon.
Game: Are you sure you want to restart?
Me: (ᗒᗩᗕ) YES!

This game is way repetative. there were like 10 days that were all replays of themselves. Too little choices matter. happiness is worthless after the start of the game, where it's the most important stat.
