Costs are WAY too high... 350 is the cheapest, and getting gold is STUPIDLY low, for that high a cost... Cut those costs by about 90% or so, and its more playable!

when a chest can spawn above you so you cant avoid it and it being a instant full death its unfair as you have to hope it doesnt happen in a very long game which is very likely to happen. the taking damage from a chest needs to be fixed its annoying the fireballs i can live with have mass chaos but a random spawning chest that instant kills you if it lands on you is not ok

It isn't satisfying to have the upgrades be this expensive, it just feels slow. There isn't any new gameplay or anything until you get the upgrades, so it just feels slow and boring/ungratifying to begin with, to the point where it won't bring most players to even reach that first upgrade. You aren't making it more satisfying for good players, you are making it so so much less satisfying for the vast majority of players.

It needs instructions on your menu page to use the W A S D keys for the menu. Personally I thought the game had frozen at first.
