Oh my god, how long did I wait for something like this? Please update your game frequently, and maybe, if you have time in the future you could implement some more languages like C#, or maybe a bit of Java.
I mean, the game is called the Programmer, it would just be Awesome to learn more than just 1 language with a flashgame.

Thanks for understanding my intentions. It's a lot less painful to get mad at a flash game, than to get mad and not understand why your code isn't working.

So, it doesn't seem to matter how much I heal. When I click health, it shows a healthy character, but when I fight in the arena, it hasn't healed me at all, so I'm just losing more and more health.

LOL, i ragequit at level 25 because i kept trying to enter the variable in code form, instead of just typing the number. I was like, omg i didnt think my math skills were that weak already!!

I used to program VB for a living. I was in the military and I needed it on the fly. I taught myself and I never learned a language from the ground up. I tried to take C++ in highschool. I dabbled with some things like AutoIT to try to automate some things. I've been certified through some pretty serious school in the military as well. I've taken tons of Microsoft Courses for college and for professional validation.
This is by far the best way I could imagine learning a language. I'm in a Java class right now for my degree and you taught the same amount of information in the first part of training, as my professor took 2 weeks to teach. This is awesome! You may have inspired me to create a similar game for other subject matter!

I tried learning ActionSript 3 about a year ago, but could never get very far. I've been pleased with this game so far, and I can't wait to see more; It's making learning both fun and easy.

People are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for college educations. Meanwhile this game teaches more, faster and better than any class I've ever taken. 5 stars and if this dude doesn't win the monthly contest then I don't want to live on this planet.

Let's be honest, the gameplay is outclassed by many fantastic games on kongregate, but as a teaching tool, there are few that can compare. Really well done, I had a fun time learning and that is a reward I value more highly than any getMedal. I would definitely look forward to an expansion. If you are not already getting paid to teach, you should consider it, mr. dev.

as a programmer myself (mostly Fortran), i just say this game is actually really good. Acually it seems like most basic informatic class, with the rpg feature. Good job

I quite enjoyed the game in terms of learning the coding, you made it pretty easy to pick up on things, but the scaling of the fights seemed too little, made it really easy to win.

Uhm greg fallennn's problem still exist in some of the levels. Just a heads up. Incredible game though, you must continue it. Learning more about programing has just become a must to me after I started playing this game. 5 stars, favorite and on my playlist. And thats because I normally dont even rate games.
