considering the rite of passage on loop lava land I believe the level 3/16 has a typo: "for (var i:uint = 0; i = 7; i++) {", the answer is 8. I think there's a typo and a < is missing, so it should be i <= 7

What a wonderful labor of love. You'd make a fantastic computer science professor/teacher if you aren't already one. The learning curve is just right, and I really wish I had enough to money to hire you to just make these forever. Awesome job.

Thanks for the wonderful teaching. In return someone should make a similar RPG with the theme "How to use MS Paint" properly. : ) (I'm just joking)

I really am happy you made this. This is my first programming language, and I plan to learn
C++ soon. If you know that code, please make a game on writing it.
Thanks again,
lego

Good news everyone. After a long hiatus, I wrote 50 lessons today. I'll start writing little updates here about my progress every day.

I lost my first level due to both my own cockiness and the space in between the $ and the cash you have. I tried to be clever, and wrote: private var displayMoney = dollarSymbol + " " + userMoney;

I dont understand how to put things on the stage. Is there an update coming that will explain this, or did i miss it in the game? Love this game, look forward to more of it!

This game is awesome! I've been programming for a long time now so the lessons were pretty easy. I just have fun programming! I don't have enough use for this skill in my daily life so it's nice (albeit REAL nerdy) to program for fun. Keep it up! P.S. I think I might show this to my advisor in my grad program. I think undergrad programming students would benefit from it's simplicity.

In Logic Land on lesson Logic Operators, AND, part 4, part of the last sentence is (determine if it's value by typing true or false.) Just pointing out a typo people don't rage. Awesome game btw :D/5

I could be wrong, but part 3/16 of the Loops Rites says
for (var i:uint = 0; i = 7; i++) {
The answer is it runs 8 times.
i = 7 is false from the start so it will never become true, so I think the condition is supposed to be i <= 7 ?

In your simple maze game, you said that you had the source code for the game on your website. I did not see it on the website. Would you mind putting it back on, or did you take it off for a reason? Thanks

I was wondering how I can keep my data from getting erased. I'm going to clean out my computer and don't want to delete this along with everything else. Can you please explain a simple way I can get my save data? Thanks!
Unfortunately I do not have a good way, since the data is stored in a cookie. Until I learn how to set up a server and write a flash api, I have to do it this way. I did create the "unlocked mode" so that you can skip to the world that you were on. Hope that helps.

Pal, your website used to include an "extra challenge" didn't it?? Now it's just a poll thing with no hyperlinks to other pages or anything. Refer to Math Zone-The Math Class-6-last.

This game is awesome. Such a sweet idea. I've got my fingers crossed for Stage Valley coming out soon! Is the game still being developed?

PLEASE, I'd say I had the trouble all the way from Training Zone to math Zone. That is, unless you carefully think about which level you have done, it's easy to mistakenly click into the last level you completed (rather than last unlocked i.e. the "next" level). Maybe graphically there should be 3 states of level icons - locked, unlocked, completed. There will be only one "unlocked" at a time in a zone, which is the "next level".

This game is fun, even if you do not want to make any games! I have no desire to code, but I still enjoy playing this game.

Awesome game man! And a great teaching method as well! I've already seen myself becoming much more adept at a language I knew hardly anything about previously. Please update and finish ASAP! (Don't be sloppy though. No one wants that ;)

Hey everybody... Can you help me with the 15 level on elite training zone. idk how to pass it, the one with coins and trace..
thanks.

Wow. I've done 550/750 sections and beat 27/27 enemies. I think it's time to break (yeah literally. At least I'll find out what are the real var names you've used) the game. (This will NOT affect the game on Kong nor the Kong leaderboard.)

We don't need a final update. No, that will be horrible. Can you please just release whatever you have developed until now? I am feeling quite bored.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What is this? It is cheating. First, the programmer will put us in the trap of the amazing game, then he won't update it. Think, how mad we become!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You are one of the best developers, and a role model for me wanting to be a future programmer. Just the fact that you still read and comment on tons of comments(not to mention the numerous large updates that have taken place) shows how dedicated you are and how the first priority for you is the gamers, and not just money. This is how all programmers should be. 5/5 for an amazing game made by an amazing programmer!
I will update it to 1000 lessons total. Time frame is tough due to my job. After 1000 lessons, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm going to put a donate button my site, and if people donate, I'll put their name (or avatar) in the game somewhere. If I can earn a little money, I'll keep going. That's the plan for now.
if you send me a pm with the text of the question, I'd be happy to help you (sending me the question is quicker than me looking through the source code)
