Could you make actual question or 'text to type' in another color? I'm a programmer but i wanted to play through the game and it was very annoying to read all tutorial text. Anyway good programming guide served in a funny way.

Part 15/21 Rite of Passage
1 /* This app is called double the
2 user's number and add 1! */
3 private var userInput:Number = 50;
Correct. Write a line of code that would double the value of userInput. Be sure to use the shorthand method (*=).
Help?

Why is the website linked in the description a really really stupid page taking US debt figures out of context to compare Bush favourably to Obama??

Logic city 2nd place conditional basics 1/11 user can BY a sword XD Great game thx for uploading :) Can't wait the patch :D This way I'm learning it faster :D

Well, in fact shorter code, better readability :)
private var youMakeVersionTwo:Boolean;
if (youMakeVersionTwo) { userDoesHappyDance(); }
Compare a boolean value to true or false is redundant, it is by nature true or false. Okay, dev behaviour speaks here :^)

@Assassine: You need to restore your computer in the arena. The arena is a computer battle. Your health is used to go through zones.

I've been trying to learn coding for ages now, but I could never find the time or patience to sit through a traditional tutorial. This game is an incredible resource. Thank you so much for creating it! :)

damn lost my game progress....since i had played version 1.2 trough thats kind of annoying...damn...what ever awesome game 5/5. i d like to see more tutorials...especially how to make something able to be seen visually...i never got that (tough i never tried to learn it yet...) (for the players that probably have some programming expirience already...a skipping ability would be great (and too for idiots who lost their gaming progress :D)) I mentioned some typos in past posts too...would be even better if the game has no flaws :P

@Developer: Logic Land, Section 7, question 4/8. The question tells you write a conditional checking to see if the user may open a door. There are no indicators as to what to compare. userHasKey:Boolean is obvious, we either have a key or not, however there is no value to check userStrength against. We do not have enough information as to what strength is needed, or if it just 0, when checking the hint, it says >= 10, this does not correctly answer the question....... Result, the game rage quits.

I think I'll definitely want to see this game through. I was thinking of getting into programming myself, one day, and this will be a great start! Later, I'll go to college to learn more. :) Thanks!

Fun game, but im unable to heal. I can heal in the show all i want to, and it shows me happy at the health tab, but back in there arena im down to my previous health again.

What symbol do you write to make single-line comment "slash" is wrong, if you expect "//" you should have written "symbols"

Small thing, typo at the end of the Elite rite of passage (part 15/15) "true me" is supposed to be "trust me"? Awesome game!! 5 stars.

Part 5/11 Conditional Basics
You will see why when you code gets very long, with many lines of code.

Awesome game, really inspires me to take up coding, especially C++ for applications!! :) However, one thing I noticed, in the arena, each move (whether you made it or your opponent) counts as 1 turn... It should be your turn + your opponents turn = 1 turn. Hope you will make more educative games in the future! :)

Elite Training is broken. Sorry this stuff is the obvious stuff- not the Flash nonsense that you actually need to know.

Oh this game is so great :D Greets from Ger i learned C# and had fun but these is awesome :D sry for my crap english xD

This is my first comment, I really enjoyed playing the game, helped me refresh my memory on C++ (sort of), I would be very interested to se the game created in this beautiful tutorial.
From my opinion you deserve a big round of applause on your hard work.

Amazing concept and game! With a couple of good graphics designers and some more teacher/developers on board, I could easily see this becoming a mainstream series of educational games covering multiple programming languages... Kickstarter perhaps?

It's cool to know that ActionScript follows regular programming conventions. Being a poor student through most of my programming learning, I never knew what AS actually entailed. Thanks!

part 3/7 Strings there is a typo...i think...Whtespace should be Whitespace...(i m not 100 % sure about this maybe its intended or so O.o...)

You reject correct answers when they don't match the silly layout e.g. You ask what is the value of a variable and I type the answer 7 and you want 3+4=7
