I have to go back and take a look again, but I noticed some typos that threw me for a bit of a loop when I was answering questions. Either way, this was awesome (and it totally helped me brush up on the basics).

A substantial stride in the field of learning by gaming. I simply loved it!
I have programmed in the past but never really understood why things were the way they were or how I could do certain things.
Bottom line, I really appreciate your effort and I would love to see the next update!

Programmers: Not impressed? Make your own game to compete against or compliment this one! You would be doing the gaming world a favor by helping spread even the most basic knowledge about this subject. I would like to see more games take this approach to learning!

Definitely very fun. I taught myself how to program my TI-83 back in high school, but now that I've learned some more, I'm curious if there's easier ways to program on that thing. Either way, I learned a lot and am definitely looking forward to more! 5/5

I managed to get a job as a programmer so this game is very easy and not very impressive from my point of view. I'm still playing it though so you must of done something right.

In part 4/6 of the review,
trace(stringOne+StringOne); // blahblah
Wouldn't it be
trace(stringOne+stringOne); // blahblah

null is not a value. null is null (or nothing), but not a value. The reason to specify this is because a null string is null, but if you call it a value, then it would have to be "null". You should probably explain null in the expert section.

This thing was great. It was everything a programming guide should be. Please don't stop here. I highly anticipate new extensions.

I should note that having an enemy use Antivirus to heal him/herself before I've done any damage doesn't make a lot of sense. I have to imagine that you could throw in something like if { (badGuyCurrentHealth == maxHealth) optionToUseAntivirusOn == false; } else { optionToUseAntivirusOn == true; } to keep them from doing so.

1/5 untill you make it more obvious at 1 : 9/10 "dont put line numbers" as hint. you dont tell us what to do here m8... or how to do it...

nice game actually liked learning everything this way (they should try making school like this) hope to see more of it :)
private var schoolLikeThis:Boolean;

Awesome game for flash beginners like me lays the foundations, and so easy to follow that the hardest part of this game was trying to spell "Concatenation"...

i broke the game... i spammed enter, rage quitted, then in the character choosing section, i spammed enter and ragequitted and everything disappeared

Great game!
As a programmer you teach us to be precise: There is a typo in EliteTraining5 part10/10: "caluclate" instead of "calculate"

and is there nother after rite of passage? all i see is the village zoomed out...kind of a bummer if so i was hoping to learn more.

I may be wrong but i don't see a way to revert the programmers Ragequit stuff. I used recover full health for 500, but he still looks nutzso lol

The game could be fun, but needs some tuning:
- what does the coloured bar below level|$$|health stands for? It does not match with health
- if I buy full health restore in RAM store and I go back to the arena, my health is not restored at all (same for partial health restoring)
- ok for the "Locked" mechanism but I have only two attacks until level 80? Are you kidding me? It means I upgrade my best attack and then I have to play at least a dozen of dummy match against my nearest opponent? It is just too boring
3/5 for the idea, maybe I should do something like that for my students, but by now it is just a group of lessons: the game is totally lacking and the students won't stick with this
Keep on rocking

You know... The graphics are minimalist, to say the least... There's not much action to speak of... But you know, you get a 5 out of me--the idea's brilliant, the graphics work for what you're trying to accomplish, and the material is broken down into understandable chunks in everyday language. Great job on this. Fantastic idea, great execution. Keep at it, man. :)

I know it's a game, but how can an opponent use a move (such as Enemy Soldier in the Dark Forest) like Weak Password Finder when we as a player don't have access to it? At least I don't.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
In the arena, it says there's 10 turns left when I can only do 5 actions. I managed to defeat an opponent on the last turn, but wasn't credited with a win :(
Maybe gray out the action buttons when it's the opponents turn?

Is there any way to look up answers I cannot think of? I am in 4/9 in 6 Tip Calculator Part 2and do not understand what you want me to calculate.

This was a great review of the programming classes I took in college! It was fun and informative and I can't wait for another version!

not sure if its just me being an idiot, but i cant seem to get to "elite " training zone, i pass the rite of passage, click on the building and get presnted by a city map of some kind. I dont seem to be able to click anything though.

Amazing. Incredible. Orgasmic. These are a few of the adjectives that came to mind while playing this game. Fun and educational at the same time. Thank you for the entertainment and I have nothing but respect for the way you were able to present the subject.
