I've been playing this game since it's started, good to see that it's being picked up by Kong. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay supports both casual and hardcore players, music is epic, and skill matters a great deal more than equipment. This is going to be the next big thing on Kong, watch. It's been nominated for the Game Developers Choice awards this year.

The best way to gain crowns for anyone: Tier 1 depth 6-7 arenas give 1.6-2.2k crowns for a full completion, as well as tokens. Have an alt at the start of the arena (known as anchoring) and keep them from logging off due to idleness. You can play with a 2nd client by downloading the spiral knights game from the main site, and you will need a 2nd account. You join your alt, then go solo and invite your friends (or just do the arena solo). Once done and you have you 1.6-2.2k you go up the lift, or leave via the esc button (DO NOT GO DOWN or you cannot rejoin your alt and will need to get your alt to that depth again). If on depth 7 you will need to leave by pressing esc. Join your alt again and repeat. You will easily get enough crowns to buy ce for crowns off the market. + this up because this is pretty much the only way to play continuously when you're new.

yeah i was playing this on windows Xp i crash everytime. where i play this on windows 7 i dont. so got my comp uograded to wins7 bamm. played without one crash. hoep this helps some people

Does not seem all together that fun. It seemed a lot like Monkey Quest, and it could be a great game for younger aged kids, which is great, but perhaps not as much for older ones. Since this is the case, it's also a little pointless to charge kids (unless their parents pay) for extra stuff when they have no money. The game also had other faults such as being slow/laggy for me and the customization seemed limited and a little girlish. I got past the first and second world places, but I think I am done after that.

The Downright Ugly; Having to pay for expansion packs, this game lures you in, at the beginning, this game implies that no such prerequisite is needed. Also the higher lvl ppl kept stealing the item loot, so others and I, at my lvl range ended up with pretty much squat, hence one reason I choose to solo in a lot of MMOs (not all MMOs). I do like sharing loot and teaming when there's some kind of control on distribution of loot in teams. Tho, I often do way better soloing than teaming in most MMOs. I give this game 5 stars for the good part, 3 stars for the bad part, and 1 star for the downright ugly part. overall rating 2.5/5 stars. Sorry for being honest about it.

The Bad; However, you really can't solo, it took me about 40 minutes 1st time, and 20 minutes other times, to build a decent team, but as predicted, I ended up having to babysit most of the others in my team (really hate that).

The Good; Nice graphics and music, the theme of the game is familiar to a single player RPG I played a long time ago (but really excellent, never the less), can't recall the name.

id really like to see u reduce the energy production time cause it takes 10 whole minutes to make 1 energy... u need 5 to actually do something so u have to wait 50 minutes if u run out

Honestly:I like this game.There are some annoying things,like when you join a party with stronger people where you can't really do any damage!Plus they always go on the front getting all the stuff.I like the graphics,it's quite original too.

those energy pack you can buy with crowns, and it resets energy every day so , its not a "force to buy". that turn out to be ok with me

too complicated to load, took forever, with windows popping up all over the place. Here is a hint, if you don't see comments when you first load game but see "forum posts" then it is a pay game and most likely not worth the time.

quite cute-looking game.. but controls are quite messed up.. actually character didn't turn or anything, so playing is'nt much fun when always facing east...

a battle starter kit worth 180 bucks now "only" 74.95 bucks, it looks good, but i hate those pay for spec equip things...
