Right, so I was wrong. Sorry Grozzler, I thought maybe there was a 'good' ending and a 'bad' ending. Thanks for replying so promptly.

i fell at last level... and won it!!? are there 2 different ends? one when you fall and other when you up the stairs? (not want to redo all from scratch)

Super creative idea... this is a cool way to stretch out the platformer genre. The gameplay in the inverted panes gives me that feeling of trying to perform some task while looking in a mirror. And the jump physics are reasonably forgiving, especially when you know a platform is 'there' but you can't see exactly how distant it is. I never played the the first edition - I'll go back and check it out.

4/5 because it felt like a lot of the levels were simply trial and error. Sometimes there was no way to see where you were going, and that made it frustrating at times. Otherwise a very nice sequel.

So, after failing the last level (alright, so I walked the wrong way and fell off), I apparently now have no option to try again without playing the whole thing through again...

great game. and I respect any developer who takes time to respond and acts on critical feedback (they end up with best games)
Which start button, the one after the preloader or the one on the main menu? What browser / flash version are you using? Send me a PM and we'll try to figure it out.

damn. i forgot to think in oposite direktions in the lase level and i died. But instead of resporning, a long text apears and at the end of it i end in the title screen. Was this the "you have beaten the game"-screen and a bug or was this somthing like "Game over"? A level select would be nice.

tried it again.... still needs screams , blood and land mines. you also might want to add really pointy spikes that spring up and impale the kid.

This one of, if not the most, creative platformers I've ever played. It takes good strategy to work your way through the map and figure out where to go next.
I also like how you respond to every comment, or at least every one that I've seen.

Nice idea. Fun to play. Had to really think about some levels spending time jumping on the spot to try find where i was.

A compelling and puzzling adventure. Ripe with emotions, thoughts, and insight into a hopeless reality, much like our own. Almost as deep and rich with mystery as the man who conjured it up. It whispers a story of a woman that hasn’t had a happy ending, quite the contrary. It teaches us to open our hearts, and hold onto the people that won’t be there forever because much like the sun, everything comes to an end eventually. 5 Stars!

I seem to have frequent problems with the game just deciding that we weren't done walking yet, and off the edge we go! Sometimes it happens immediately after dying, so I die and then she just jumps off a cliff to lament our failure.

Really awesome game, like the first one. I like how you can find platforms on the map if you just look for part of a sign or lantern on your current tile.
And the music is awesome too and fits to the game. It would be cool to have downloadlink for it.
All in all 5/5 once again, and I hope it gets badges.
I disagree. Every level is meticulously designed to have connecting elements (posters, trees, lampposts, etc.) either on the current fractured piece or a fractured piece you navigated through earlier.

without the pained screams of death as the little girl plummets to her doom, this game is simply artsy fartsy crap. tips: add the screams, add blood, and a couple of hidden land mines.

Wow!!! The poem shook me, the puzzles were challenging, the music varied and the scenes growing darker was great... I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. Superb game!

Gah some of those levels made my brain hurt. I liked it, though some of the spoken bits were a little over melodramatic. I'd also like to say how much I liked the music, especially when the violin and stuff came in
That's weird that it would load but then not play. Which "start" button was it, the one after the preloader or the one on the main menu? Send me a PM and I'll try to get this sorted for you.

2/5: long, tends to get a bit boring as it goes on. However, the main problem is the _lack of stage select_. I got to the last level, (I didn't know that was the last), had to something else, and when I got back, I pushed the wrong button. My character fell off the screen, that's it, no way to replay. :(

This game begs for a "Replay" button, to let you watch the path you took without the fractures after the level is over. Loved the original, loved this too. 5/5.

I would 5 star this game but some levels use cheap navigation and also because of my next question.
**SPOILER**
Is there any way to get a happy ending?
