easy wins while taking now damage ready: any amount of spreaders doesnt matter if its 5 or 3 but load them on, then move in a counter clockwise fashion around the outside of each bubble while constantly firing your weps in the middle and you are bound to win, good luck

Bubble tanks is my all time Favourite
Its good to see a new game
I would be more happy if i see a totally multiplayer type game of Bubble tanks !!

Nice game, it doesn't get that hard, but it takes very long to kill certain enemies because you don't get that much gun points.

glitch
i tried to load an enemy tank and it wouldnt load becaus my avatar tanks gp was to low but not my enemy tank gp and yes this was in enemy tank creator

I hate to say it, but the repetitive play, forced slow progress and re-hashing of the same enemies drain the life out of this for me completely. I loved the first bubble tanks, but this feels like the same game stretched over far more levels than are fun to play - 7 bubbles full of the exact same enemies over and over again? Urgh!

I love this game, only thing I hate is it isn't hard enough.... And, with a level of only 10 bubbles, when you get 3 bubble of "free life" (when I'm always full of life anyway) and you want the game to be harder, to die once in the hole thing. I'm disappointed by that. But overall, GREAT GAME !

I agree, bubble points are useless, all you need are gun points. The bubble parts serve no purpose except to make you easier to hit. Maybe if you required a certain size of base part to mount each gun onto it would help the balance a bit? Also the large guns need to be improved or made cheaper as there's currently no benefit to taking a larger class size. And the secondary weapons need some balancing with the primary weapons too - after some testing I found that putting all gun points into four Starbursts that fire in a spread in front of you is almost always better than any primary weapon and has no restriction on class size so can be fitted on a tiny ship.

This game has some SERIOUS balance issues. For starters, it's way too easy to make a "ghost tank" that consists of nothing more than a couple guns, all resized to their minimum size. Nearly impossible to hit. Also, there is absolutely no reason to advance out of a class one tank. The increase in health is just not enough to compensate for the increased amount of damage you take due to you being a larger target and being slower as well. I had a class one tank, for example. Gun points maxed out on it. Then I resized it but kept the same config to make it a class three. Died three times in the class three tank. Brought it back down to a class one, still same config, and blew through the level like it was nothing. There needs to be incentive to make something larger than a class one.

The tank is moving faster diagonally, than vertically/horizontally. It's useful, when you have a dozen of seekers on your six.

The one that lay mines makes the frame rate suffers, from my experience the mine layers keep laying mines and slows the over all frame rate limit the amount of miens they spawn or keep lots but make sure they explode

if you want an overpowered tank: as soon as you get a leech cannon, add just 1 shield (secondary weapons) and the leech cannon; when u can afford 2x leech cannon use that, and only that, then as u get more gun points, use 2x leech 1x shield, and ultimately, 3x leech, which is the best tank possible. Also, and this applies to every cannon i descibed, resive every piece to be as small as possible, then u're harder to hit. DO NOT use any bubbles for your body, they are useless

If you get to close to a tank that has the leechers that spawn as soon as they have hit you and go back to it, they create more so rapidly that your entire tank can be drained in a few seconds, making them the worst enemy and making them insanely imbalanced

Y'know what's better than 3-spread?
3 parallel......putting 3 basic cannons next to each other. This is possible before even getting 3 parallel, and probably costs less bubble points.

Either please make it blue again or give a choice of colour: red, green, blue, purple etc.
I liked the idea of bubbles popping being a sort of life bar as in the last ones, or could you at least do that for the enemies?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As many players previously stated, why did you guys dumped the blue? It's awesome we can design our own tanks now, but PLEASE give us more GP!!! In the old games a tank could rape just about everything in seconds if handled properly, here it's not the case. But still a great improvement! 4/5, I'm sure BT3 will be worth a 5! Keep up the good work!

I made two sandbox levels for people to test their tanks. One with enemies that do not shoot and another one with enemies that do shoot (and a lot)

Why can't i play my own levels? As soon as i jump into my own arena and want to move on to the right, it just stops there and i can't fire or move anymore...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm not sure how much testing went into the tank designer, but it seems to me that you should probably at least have to connect guns to a bubble. The optimum tank seems to basically be the highest DPS guns you can afford, resized to the smallest size, on their own with no bubbles.

2 words: content filter. I spent too much time looking for user-made levels that would be good, but ended up playing stuff in the same realm as dental surgery. At least have a sort by rating... Otherwise, the game is pretty good. The leveling system needs two fixes: one, it needs to be transparent, as I had no idea when I was leveling, how far I was, or, crucially, what even counted towards upgrades. Second, the gun points system needs to work better. As it is there is little point in making a heavy tank as you take so much more damage due to slowness, with the extra HP only slightly offsetting this. Other than that, the only benefits I saw were the extra weapons available, but they weren't that great and didn't even approach making up for the loss of speed. In short, bigger bubbles get bigger guns. It's completely logical.

Star Burst = win. The more the better. If you hit you do 15 damage, and if you miss you do 5-40 damage depending on how close it was. The error screen in the editor should be removed entirely, and replaced by a small text announcement in the corner saying that this design is unusable. Outline the offending part in red. Pausing the game for 3 seconds is annoying and stupid.

Gotta agree with the top comment, my suggestion: make every level give you 1-2 gun points and make the guns cost 10-20 times more. And make it so you can replay maps for more gun points. That'll keep people playing the lower levels until they can gun up to the higher levels.

as soon as you get mega cannons, the game becomes too easy and boring... 4/5 Fun for the first little while but not difficult enough
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too easy- the enemies give back too much health meaning that you can be rather reckless, but once they die you go back to 100% health. Load up on spread guns and nothing can stand in your way.
