Far worse than the previous two versions. Much slower paced, many unnecessary features (optional bubbles that unnecessarily increase your hit box? Really?), and far too easy once you start clumping guns on top of each other for your ships. Maybe have a limit to how many guns each bubble can hold? Or create a 'core' for each ship which defines your hitbox, and let other bubbles absorb some incoming bullets?
That said, the previous two versions were extremely fun and this game is still enjoyable.

Whenever I press "Load Saved Tanks" the page closes. I'm on internet Explorer. Is this happening to anyone? It won't let me load saved tanks

Disappointed to be honest. From the name I've always assumed this was going to be multiplayer game where you use your tanks to fight other players...which would be awesome.

@ Shandara: Ahhh! Okay, well in that case, great job on them for test driving it first before releasing the final product. Thanks for the info.

@DexterNeptune: This is more like a test version for certain elements for the new BT3, atleast thats what Hero stated.

First, let me say that I love the bubble tank series. Who doesn't? But, I think this is my least favorite. The gameplay is great and controls are beautifully simple, but I feel that the fighting strategy is reduced to constantly circling the perimeter of the arena while blasting away towards the center. This gets tedious after a few levels. Your only other option is to dive into the fray, at which point you basically just have to absorb shots. The best part of the game comes with upgrading the guns, but the gun points come so seldom that you have to make do with what feel like underpowered weapons the whole game. It's not that this makes the game much more difficult, but it does make it more monotonous as you spend more time circling the arena, plinking away at the bigger enemies for several minutes until they expire. Like I said, I really appreciate these games, but this one feels a bit stale to me.
4/5

why the hell are things going to slow my computer gave it access and i gave it unlimited data, why is the music all screwed up and why does it look like it is a rough drawing of everything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nvm, that lvl doesnt work. You need more customizability for the enemies, maybe each class up adds 3 gun points or something.

Nice game but theres a bug at least for me that makes it get stuck going one direction. Just for clarification its not my keyboard...

Loved the others - this one is a resource pig. Feels like its in development. Way to sluggish controls. It's pretty unplayable for me - which doesn't happen much either.

My favorite setup that I did the last 2 levels with (only because you don't unlock the EPC sooner): 9b91dadc16762a64ada446a116f18402f992e46b901b511628ef56620beca1a00cd962355654bd6b1d93ddb827324a8f1c0ab9eca8bd1ccd65aeb5004cc9714

I think you should make a classic upgrade style game, collecting the bubbles as money and using them to buy weapon upgrades and body upgrades, but with different style of bodies and weapons that you can upgrade to, as an off branch from the first upgrade. But, you would have to remove the automatic bubble-collector once all the enemies are destroyed, to make them at least-moderately work for their money. Which, in all fairness, would have to make the enemies match what ships YOU can have, so the people playing the game don't complain about not being able to have other ship styles.

This is such a great engine but every game has the same crippling problem - zoom level. I never see enemy ships. I stay away from them so they don't kill me which means I am always shooting off screen.

That's not true codysaidhi. We have engineered ALL of the weapons so it is almost always better to have a 2 GP weapon than two separate 1 GP weapons. It's not just a matter of how many bullets you fire and how much damage they do, fire rate and strategic use are key factors in the equation.
In conclusion, I'd pick the two parallel over 2 basic cannons any day.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some of the weapons, like the two parallel, are pointless because you can multiply lesser weapons (like the basic cannon) to get the same firepower and spend less bubble points.

You should input some reason to add more bubbles to your tank other than some place to smack on a gun. It would be nice if your health was based on the size of your tank, not just a class upgrade. Just an idea.

It won't load past the HeroInteractive advertisement. If anyone has a solution, please shout or whisper to me or post it here.

Way too easy. Enemy bullets need to do more damage. Bubbles need to heal less. Mines should track, considering that you can just stay on the outside of a bubble area and just circle it.

ctilla, and smitty, the dividing part can be agrivating, but the class too low is usually when you have a gun (heavy) on a lvl 2 tank and you try to make it a lvl 1, heavy can only be put on certain sizes

Hmm? New colorset? Cool.
Though, I got that same error that guilherme404 got when I first loaded the game. You really need to look into that, it startled me. -_-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
fun game, but I get a lot of errors in the ship editor screen. "class too low" etc. Instead of checking after every thing i change, you should have it check when i try to save and exit.

Thye menus when creating your own tank can be confusing which may lead to some people quitting because of frustration before they ccan actually play the game.

Finally it's on Kongregate! The Bubble Tanks series is great. I like each new one better than the last one (even though this isn't actually in the Bubble Tanks 1, 2 and 3 line). The only thing I could complain about in this one is that Size 5 and 6 Tanks need a bit more health. 5/5
