I love your guys response to comments. People point out flaws or improvements and you say rate it a 5 so we can get money then make changes. You know the game lacks things but you want us to rate a 5 anyway. You got it backwards. Make a good game then it gets ratings of 5. Don't make a lacking game and tell people to rate 5 so you can make a good one.
Basically it comes down to what is going to be most productive. It's common on Kongregate to hold ratings ransom: "3/5 until feature X is implemented, then 4 or 5/5." It's totally understandable, people want to see the game improved. But it's extremely counterproductive and it doesn't foster improvements. 1) Players usually underrate a game that is actually much better than it's now lower score. 2) People don't invest money and time into low rated games. That's all it comes down to. We care about our players, and we are working to make improvements. But we need everyone's support and help!

Enjoyable game, good concept. Suggestions for improvement.
- Have weapons do a greater percentage of damage when enemy is on the screen to encourage infighting.
- Distance to enemies alters shading of the off-screen arrow. When it's far away, the arrow is red. It shades to white when it approaches until it's on-screen.
- Pleased that you're adjusting the difficulty. At minimum, enemy hits should do way more damage.

Cute little game, I found it fun. I like that it is not an overcomplicated, well designed from the last menu, and it is kinda easy. Oh yes, I do not believe that a game becomes more fun nor challenging by forcing the players to replay a level 20 times just to grind enough 'gold' to buy every useless upgrade. So overall I like it, has a good potential. Personally I would be glad to see even more weapons, bigger ones of course (that allows me to blow up a ship with one shot, or the entire screen or the browser window :) .. maybe name it the old guy mode. Nonetheless, since this unlikely to happen.. I will just looking forward to see the next version .

Too easy overall. Lacking in story development. The ending really disappointed me. It's basically hoverbot arena without as cool of upgrades.

5/5 for funding! Needs different types of music for each foe/level; Industrial Metal for The Botizens, Speed Metal for The Final Stand, etc...

The only thing making the "hard" missions hard, is the fact that the little ships which create the shields, are covered by the shields of others, so you just have to wait 10 minutes till they move so you can actually get trough their invulnerability.

You almost got a 1/5 for no left-handed control scheme, but you can change the button lay out. You cannot, however, do it in the middle of a level. There's no way to quick out early it seems, all you can do is pause to bring up the shop.

Bubble tanks in space without all the original and cool mechanics that made bubble tanks stand out from the crowd as not just another shooter... Got ya.
This isn't a step forwards, this is a step backwards. You can do better than this guys.

good game, would like a section to personlaize ships with weapons and whatnot. I rather enjoyed the back and forth between the player and foes, but it needs work some of the waves said the same thing and some said nothing. More description in the shop would be great ie what weapons does the "weapon-x" ship have? the lack of description made me skip that ship entirely and go for the ai 3100. still good game, 3/5 some improvments would bump it to 4-5/5
As posted above: The best way for us to make huge changes to the game like that is to make a sequel so we can get the money to fund it. We need your 5's so sponsors will be interested in funding a sequel!

Whew, I sure am glad I save that...thing...from those...guys. The universe is much safer now, or something. Anyway, like may have said, the game has a good feel but it's definitely not fleshed out enough and it's very easy (except when the green capital ships get impacted shield ships and then it becomes virtually impossible). And yeah, the very last ship just MIGHT be a little bit better than the Bullet Storm, but the jury's out. And the plot...I mean hey, come on. I know the standards for video game storylines aren't that high, but maybe one single sentence about what the stupid artifact is and why it's so darned important would lend, if nothing else, a sense of completeness to the game. Or else you could just scrap any pretense of plot at all and just blow guys up like in BT. But not this in-between stuff. 4/5
I agree, story is, well, not necessary. It's fluff and really not all that important. Maybe we could add more story elements, but really it's just about blowing stuff up- don't overthink it.

Man, why are these super-advanced alien ships so full of cogs? Do they sell counterfeit Rolexes when they're not attacking random convoys for random artifacts?

For the future writing - non-intelligent brutes do not make sense in a game with space-combat focus. Space dogfight is firstly nerds fighting nerds in spaceship design. And secondly pilot fighting pilot in who can better utilise his ship. Big, dumb species wouldn't survive two seconds there.

The Dream Team's Solution
Botizen and Chosen Leaders: Let's use a tactic that has already failed us a half-dozen times.
Botizen and Chosen Underlings: But sirs, shouldn't we take out their ships BEFORE we attack, like with an EMP.
Botizen and Chosen Leaders: No, we are using the same tactic
Underlings: But si-
Leaders: Say anything else and you'll be executed.

you should be able to set the targets your autoturrets attack. i.e. weakest, strongest, closest, farthest away (I personally eliminate the weakest first, I'd rather face one strong enemy than a dozen weak ones)

Very well done game, great graphics as well. Only the gameplay itself is a bit boring, you just hold mouse and sacebar and circle strafe around :( gets reeeally tedious after 4 or 5 levels. 3/5

Just found a MASSIVE glitch. The giant bug ships, the ones that have shields, and you have to destroy the drones to disable the shields, if they overlap they become invincible. The shields will cover the drones and you cant destroy them.
