interesting game but frankly the splitting apart ability was completely useless....youd think it was a good idea, but your teamates suck and just get eaten unless you constantly use your abilites to help. and the last two levels just ended up being me infected versus one big guy and racing him to protein until he splits and i killed him

heres a good badge:
Viral defector: first requirment: win as a virus through more than half of the round. requirment 2:(i dont know if u can do this but) eat 5 virused microbes.(maybe in 1 round or not.)Last requirment:win a round with a ally in all of the levels for more than half the level.(it gets eaten restart) hows that not BAD, huh?

currently i see no real advantage to splitting up
when i try, the other side usually get eaten + the half i control is under threat.
Also, being infected doesnt really matter as long as you dont split up.
Maybe a timer on how long you can survive infection = a good idea
infection starts to matter then

A decent idea, but certain levels stack the odds against you in such a way that you just have to go through multiple rounds hoping to get some lucky proteins early on.

Game is well done, but way too easy. Since you can avoid the viruses forever, there is no need to do anything other than get big at the start and then wait for the enemies to split so you can eat them. Large enemies should have a meaningful movement penalty multiple smaller entities should be able to "join forces" against a single large entity.

Pretty interesting game though in the end it seems kinda short...maybe different types of proteins, or boss fights or more enemies....3/5

There are two simple strategies... 1) The first strategy is never to split -- stay large and use the fast power-up to eat your enemies. 2) The second stategy is to avoid viruses and your enemies will eventually get affected and die. If this helps then copy/paste.

The larger you are, the longer it takes to die of infection...keep this in mind if you are having trouble with the last level, ;)

The only reason I won on level 12 was because I got infected. If I'd tried to keep avoiding the virus cells, I'd have never won.

The virus does three things: it disables most of your abilities, it slowly shrinks anything it infects, and it outright kills anything below a certain size. Therefore, if you get infected, eat as much as possible. If an enemy is too big for you to eat when you're at or close to max size, eat every other protein. You'll stay big enough to eat them after they split, and they'll split (eventually).

i think a serious problem here is that powerups are useless.
splitting=>your allies are DUMB. better stay big
self destruct=> yeah, why not, might as well NOT let them get eaten
speed=> only useful very early if you are going after protein...but then, you can't count on getting this as first power and lasts too short.
it's basically spike and size-up that CAN be useful. usually it's just stay as big as possible and eat everything that splits.
Maybe auto-splitting at a certain size would make it more challenging.(but then, virus would need to be slightly altered...)

this has nothing to do with spore except the fact that theres a microbe in it. if youve ever watched the trailor or played the game you should know that so try playing the game or watching the trailor first then see if its a ripoff of spore!

i already passed the game before so just loaded passed lvl 12 eated 20 guys and tadaa everything !
its a good game but is kind of luck bassed and repetitive also great music! 4/5
