I played through the entire game without splitting once. Allies simply don't seem to do much and they tend to die stupidly. I kept waiting for a level that forces me to split but it never happened. Other than that, great game.

Wicked little game! Very fun and challenging. My only advice would be to educate us on the bonuses a little more before the game begins, because while you're flying around in there avoiding viruses and microbes, you can't really see exactly what they all do. Also, a labeling system for them which shows you which button they are assigned to, 1-6, would be helpful as well. Very good game though, make another one! :D

would be nice if you could customise it so you started with certain skills or something... as you progressed through levels.. but yeah it's easy anyway so... 4/5 good game

Allies have a purpose: Get the ally explosion thing (Can't remember name) and wait for them to be near enemies. Or use the split *just* before being eaten and hope the copy gets away...

There are several major in the design. Splitting in two is worthless, it just makes you vulnerable. It would be bad even if your allies were smart. Viruses are extremely beneficial to the player until you come across the immune enemies.
The game boils down to "Grow big, then wait for your enemies to split"

I don't like the fact that it doesn't actually help to split in two. The half you don't control is going to be dumb and either get eaten or get infected by a virus. You are better off staying in one piece and eating your opponents when they split or eating protein until you get the horn and then going after them.

Actually, you can beat the last level with NO allies, powers, or whatever. I got a virus when i was large, and I just sat around waiting for them to split, then I ate 'em.

You never have to create more microbes to your team to win. When you're at full size you're invinsible, the only thing that can hurt you are viruses. Become nax size, eat the little ones, wait for the big ones to seperate into smaller ones, eat them, you win. Every level is pretty much the same.
It's too easy and too short.
