Duel machine gun is the best weapon to start with. Use the small cannon to soak up fire and atttack with the machine gun.

Look, Kongregate is lagging at the moment, maybe they're getting a lot of traffic, I don't know. If you don't see the green dot (which means it is red) at the top of the kongregate chat, you're not sending in scores. If you play and meet the conditions, but that dot is still red, it means the chat couldn't connect, and your card won't be registered. I recommend coming back when Kong is running at a better speed.

As Sparkius said, try refreshing and being patient. I eventually got my card.
Campaign 1 finished, just 1 machine-gun used, no damage taken apart from the flying helicopters. No shots fired by the flying boats or flying brains :D

Card came, but I had to wait a bit for it to show up. Just continued playing for the medium and easy badges. Gets a bit repetitive, buy dbl machine gun, level up... yada yada yada. Wish we could keep some of the lvls that we obtain. Know I sd it b4, but still keeping it at 4/5... Maybe we could just keep 1???

Asgard - you do get to chose your skill upgrades. Click on more and you an spend the points. You also start out with some. Damage buffs help later when you have 15 or 20% - mainly on the bigger guns.

I think I might know why it takes ages to get the card, this game creates MASSIVE chat lag, and probally card lag too.apart from that, great game 4/5

I got Ever Badge and the CARD!
Heres a quick manual(Prob Best for Campaigns 3-5):
1:Get a Double Machine Gun in the Middle Front Slot
2:Get a Heavy Cannon in the bottom front slot
3:For the rest get a Dmg Buffer
Upgrade Reload Time for Double Machine Gun Then after 5 upgrades upgrade HP
Upgrade Health for Cannon
Upgrade Buffer for Dmg Buffer
That gave me all badges and card

Do the buffs actually do anything? I spend 8G on a Damage buff and if it has any effect it is way too subtle.
Same feeling when my guns level up.
In v2 I'd like to be able to choose what I want to level up on my gun: damage, health, or rate of fire. And the upgrades should have a more dramatic effect.
It just feels a little too "tight" and the bonuses I get are too incremental.

A fun game, though it takes some getting used to. I definitely prefer the Dual Machine Guns to the other primaries, though -- who wants to hold down to fire every shot with the cannon? It's a bit lame that we have yet another heavily promoted game that requires money to unlock half of it, but at least the half that is free to play is good.

I got the card fine. There is tons of lag today (the 22nd) so just refresh your page after awhile and your card/badges will probably show up.

Game is ok. Don't know if it is because I am sick or not but it seems to just be a tad too frustrating having to hold down the clicker 500 times. Maybe I'm just lazy I still gave it a 4/5 though was fun for awhile.

Auto Pilot for other guns not being used is definately a great idea. I am also experiencing the same problem as others. I have completed compaigns and scored over 10k Points in a challenge and still no card or badge...

I just played through the first campaign, and I really like this game!
The colors of the enemies could be changed around a little, though...It gets boring defeating all red and brown enimies, but that's all I can see wrong with this so far, and that's not even that bad. Good job!

Never mind on that. After completing ocean guard a second time the other campaign completions registered. Odd. It did take a few minutes to recognize the card as well.

to beat kong badge really easily, just shoot once and hit and then let yourself die. you get 20,000 for 100% accuracy lol

i think the easiest way is to get 1 single double machine gun, it was nice speed, upgrade it for incredible constant dmg, and the other towers just make support which are all auto.
