and for the reason this game is NOT rated higher... you have to pay for a few more things... most people do not like this type of thing on KONGREGATE... kongregate is "free games" NOT "demo games"

the best main gun is dual machine gun... but sniper is by far better then cannon.. you can make the sniper shoot faster then cannon.. and deal more damage...

Definitely needs a higher rating. Not only is the artwork of this game stunning, but the game play puts you into the panic of what feels like real war. Amazing job!

Well i do see this. But since (according to my observation) the heaviest armor reduces the damage to 1/4 and I'd rather shoot 4 cannon rounds instead: and i can shoot another 4 and blast another armor chopper outta this world before your sniper ever reloads---if you upgrade reload then no more OHKO!

The sniper gun has 2 advantages:
1) It does damage regardless of armor. Meaning, shields do nothing to it. Those big shield ships... sniper can 1 shot them.
2) It fires instantly, making it much more accurate.

I've been playing offline for some time, and i've beated everything free. And to win normally i suggest you to use CANNONS as your main damaging unit instead of sniper. I don't get the point of sniper: for every upgrade point it get +3 attack, same as cannon. And for the long delay of sniper cannon i'd rather fire a heck more shots of cannon, which has the same +3 attack per upgrade point, is healthier( ^_^ ), and fires often.

Super Shield: Have 2 shield generator shield each other at the beginning of the game, and they will block most bullets! you just need to take care of bombs then

Another Bug-
As the enemies respawn/come back after they go past you (most of them), as big bullet's from the big cannons count as enemies, if they go past you, the round never ends... I got stuck and i just went past level 10... Now i have to do the level again...

2/5... It could easily be a 5/5, it has the right components, but not there yet... Make the added content (up top and to be paid for) increase some of your base stats, then add some more multi gun platforms. Also, taking away all upgrades at start of each lvl is lame

*BUG* I go to restart the level, and my turrets move from their location, up to the far upper-left corner of screen, nearly off-screen. All turrets stack on top of one another and fire from this position (bullets originate from there) even though health/reload bars remain on their respective platforms. Collision detection gets screwed up as well.

Only one wave of drones per round, that is correct (@dude02135). That is why you have to upgrade the Drones sent out Per Round. However, you can have many, many, many drones...

It is a nice game. It wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be, but it is definitely badge worthy (especially when compared to the recent shitty badges.) It is very well polished, with nice graphics and music. The gameplay is unique and interesting...however, I just don't feel like it contains the depth and complexity of, say DTD1.5 I feel like there isn't enough tower upgrades or drastic changes that come about from upgrading...and I don't see why you would bother to have more then two offensive towers? Maybe I just haven't played it enough, but I mean..eh. It was good for the first ten minutes but it's not going to keep me longer then that. It's just not my style...still though, 4/5 for being very well developed.

how about fixing the turret bug? the one where the turrets just won't freaking fire? all LOOKS fine, but the turrets won't fire.
