Extra content : -1 star I don't go to kongregate to have to pay for a full game.
It still a cool game and I use dual machine gun with damage upgrad and damage buffer = 3 damage per hit. Pwnage !

o.o I once liked machineguns myself, but I realised that for 10xp to upgrade the machinegun's dmg by one, why not use the 10xp on a heavy cannon to upgrade its damage my OMGWTFLARGENUMBER? Go figure. =/

Thanks, Ziph. After reading your comment, I realized I didn't know what the upgrades were, so I went through the instructions again and found out. That was the problem - I hadn't used any upgrades whatsoever the first time through. I guess that's good enough to get through 9 but not 10. Thanks!

Double MachineGun and save the upgrades until you can get DamageUpgrade for 10 points. As soon as you can get a Sniper and then a damage buffer. 4th slot is optional, but I quite like the mines as they're cheap and I don't need to worry about them

Clearly I suck. For Level 10 on Ocean (only 4 turrets), I can't beat it no matter the combo. I'm using the double-barreled machine guns as primaries, and I've tried tons of combos of secondaries or support, and nothing works. What's the right combo for it?

But it does have some bugs. One that I've encountered most often is sometimes when I restart a level, I can only use one turret. I can still buy/repair/sell/make upgrades to all the other turrets, but I cannot select them.

On the first few levels, make one dual machine gun on the bottom, 2 orbital mines in the middle, and a health buffer on top.
The mines will kill the elephant looking things that only get hurt in the back. Use the dual machine gun turret to shoot those quick little hellions, unless the cannons come in, then take care of those first.
On the levels with the GIANT shield ships that come out, replace one of your orbital mines with a remote missle. Use it on the shield ships and machine gun on everything else. You've got to be quick. It's tricky but you'll get it.

well done, only i got a bug when restarting a lvl, a machine gun in stock was still there, so i could start with extra cash, also the gun on top on campain 4 was hovering in the air, not able to shoot or get hit by falling bombs. Nice game though, i used the machine gun till i could use the plasma weapons, witch all shoot at the same time, with a normal cannon gun with his health maxed up as a tank. worked perfectly (almost). 4/5 cause of the bugs

I figured the cannon problem out... It's just a certain cannon that doesn't work. If I buy a new one there's no problem. Pretty odd...

Kongregate attacks badge really really easy. Too bad as I kind of like this game and was excited to see new ship options.

On level 10 on city - put maxed heavy cannon on the bottom & hit turrets for max damage. ALso - increase damage on double machine gun as soon as possible - level 2.

On a lighter note, since I discovered the power-up... things you get from leveling, I've been able to have a good stab at The Last City. Haven't quite done it yet though (so still no hard badge - nooooo), and I don't plan on getting the extra content for the other hard one and the insane.

There's a bug sometimes where the heavy cannon won't load up power, just fire at minimum all the time. I have to reload the game to fix it. Also, i believe there is a strange bug with multiple orbital mine towers. A tower will sometimes spawn a new mine instead of another one, keeping the number of total mines constant, but re-distributing them.

well i figured out its not good to have 3 damage buffers... since a giant shield that u can't break..... soooo many 0000000000000000's

The annoying to fun ratio is off.
My main complaint is that for most guns, you need to lead way too much. A little leading is ok, but I don't want to feel like the enemies are moving faster than my bullets.
This game somehow manages to feel slow paced.

Great game. Love the variety of towers and the need to juggle to secondaries as they reload. It could stand to have some harder difficulty levels, potentially some campaigns with more stages, and a 'test map' where you can try out the different turrets for free, just to get to know what's out there.

I agree that controlling only one turret at a time is a problem. Some sort of auto mechenism could be used here. In auto mode you could reduce the accuracy or allow the ability to target a certain type of enemy with each uncrontrolled tower.

for the last campain i used machine gun(left) one damage buffer(down,left) and 3 remote misile(front) when it doesnt work anymore i used machine gun(left), damage buffer(down), decoy drones(down) and 2 orbital mines(up)
