My typical setup is this: 1 Spread gun (or minigun, if you can afford it) and then 1 decoy if needed, then as many damage boosters as you can afford. Got my minigun damage up to 14 per hit on the last level....
There is something to be said for using nothing but minefields though :P

its annoying when you cant repair one of your things because it wont let you grab it.... 3/5 because of all the glitches

lmaaaooooo I love those decoy guys sooo much they r soo funny and they work soooo well!!! because of them,all my towers were untouched for 3 rounds and continueing... I rly wanna get them guns =o

BUG
the guns dont go where i put them number four goes to the top half of the screen and number 3 goes to number 2s spot and number 1 goes to number 3s spot cannon2 stays where it is

Wow. 2 Sky Minefields, 2 Plasmids, 1 Decoy. Very, very nice setup. Swap out the plasmids for maybe a tri-machine gun, but...2 minefields are nice.

My only complaint is the levels get harder, but each level you start over with no guns. Maybe you can change the level difficulties so that they will scale properly and let us keep our weapons.

The Mine Field is probably the most under-used weapon in the game for its potential. Really, you don't need to aim, you just click when it's recharged. Get 2 or 3 or 3 of them...and it'll literally just fill the screen with mines (add decoys to all other empty slots).
You can't lose. Big ships, little ships will collide, and those big explody shells? They'll get blown up too by your mine balloons. Upgrade points are cheap (1 point per 2 extra mines). Give it a try. Much better than the machinegun ;)

Everything was going fine for me until I hit a ship that was impossible to damage. I targeted every damn spot of it, and just kept getting 0,0,0,0. As such, I lost.

MORE GUNS, MORE GUNS, MORE CONTROLLABLE AIRSHIPS , make a controllable warship thats more expensive than anything, or a machine that sucks up enemies and converts them to both kinds of drones, and, this is the biggie for me, GIVE THE MINIGUN BULLETS!!! its hard to hit a moving target from a side view with invisible bullets. and A (not 2, not 5, ONE) auto fire turret. but make it weak, about the same as blue airship. make it as a starting mechanism, not as a get out of jail free card. lazy ppl can get off there ***** and make their own the way they like it.

good game,it's just that once u buy 1 gun and upgrade it alot,theres no point in buying another gun unless it's just soo much better.

i didn't find any bugs in it; i just needed a method that fit my play style. me, i used the spread m.gun w/barriers and damage buffer. spend the m.gun upgrade points on damage until between it and the buffer it reaches 5, then switch to reload speed. I used that method through the whole campaign.

No levels are missing, the achievements are like if you don't repair for a level, the future repairs are free; if you beat 1st level in 13 minutes, you get 5 bonus upgrade points, etc. But you can only play the game and save progress by not using the cheats (achievements) and you can only unlock new achievements if you don't have other achievements active; so the missing content is really no big deal. It's just to play through the game again with cheats.

I dont like how the sniper one misses even when you click on a large ship, and there are drones flying around it (No they didnt explode and take the hit - it said "You misses")
