2 mine towers, one machine gun, 1 decoy tower, + damage buffer can win any scenario. machine guns is to carry you to mid game and shoot down the cannon rounds coming at you. decoy tower soaks up damage, and leveled up mine towers cover the screen with mines. Everything is vaporizes before they reach half screen.

Anyone know how to beat the 2nd last campaign? Tried, minigun (sucks), tripple machine gun (good, but then cant kill armoured ships), im gonna try plasma now.
Those dragon ships are killing me :(

i love all the new turret additions, but just like in the other ones, this entire game can be trumped with only the heavy cannon and one turret in front to take the damage...

i hate that armor games releases a game on their site, then releases another game to other sites. however, the other version lacks the acheivements, extras, and even a few features. all these are replaced with ads and links. if you ask me, armor games is pretty desperate for hits on their site.

Actually, this feels a lot better balanced than the original. Heavy cannon is no longer the far-and-away dominant weapon, and sun cannon is FRIGGIN AWESOME. The only disappointment IMO is the minigun which feels pathetically weak - triple machinegun is better in almost every way.

i don't know whether anyoen else has had the same problem but for some reason i can't get past level 2. everytime i finish it it keeps leaving the next level locked.

After being already enticed by your other Storm Wind games, seeing a sequel made me sit at the edge of my seat in anticipation. Your Steampunk graphics are always a pleasure to the eyes, and I enjoyed the instensity of this game, as well as the others in the series. Tough, challenging, exciting, everything a good game needs. You have managed to create a whole nother world with these, and that is the goal of any game maker. You make people want to play the sequels. After playing the game for a period of time, I realized it was much like the originals, which there is no problem in that, and I admired the distinct differences as the game progressed. Perhaps a StormWinds RPG is in store for the future? I await to see your progress in this legacy you have created and I award you highest rating I can give. :) 5/5

Was rather boring, until my guns decided to all go to the upper left corner where they wouldn't work, then just annoying since even reloading didn't fix that.

Never mind the fact that it still isn't balanced, Stormwinds is still one of the great classic Flash games of all time.

Pretty easy game, once you figure out how to use the guns, they are actually balanced. And all of the extra weapons are very easy to include into a war strategy as well. Personally I just like to use the minigun and blow through all the enemies in a few seconds xD I can get around 12+ damage with it on just the first level alone.
5/5 Great Game.

i dont like the idea of a gun gaining experience, i think you should be able to spend your money on upgrading turrets, not have to wait for it to 'level up'

Well, some guns are unbalanced in terms of power, especially compared to cost, but it's still an enjoyable game with a charming steampunk feel to it. Also, the sheer selection of turrets is staggering, even if a lack of polish made many of them little more than novelties. 4/5
Also, to anyone reading this, it's completely unfair to rate low based only on the fact that it's a limited version. It's people that think like that that attribute to EA's slow devouring of the video game industry and successful selling of what comes comes out the other end.
