Superb game! Messages popping up every five seconds or so? Not so much. Anyway, I loved the music, the retro-style art, and the fact that it was in black and white. Nice idea, it was executed nicely (except for those messages!). It was very good for a second game, and I'm looking forward to future games made by this Developer. I would suggest adding a bar saying how many lives you have remaining, but other than that I liked the simplicity and level of challengingness of the game, 4/5.

Art style: good. Mechanics: okay. Jump, fall, coin get, kill enemy, die messages: WHY GOD WHY? Could be a good game if those were removed. (The reason silent films were tolerable was because they didn't have dialogue screens every two seconds. Or half a second.) I like the idea, but the constant interruption is killing me.

Cool concept ruined by incredibly obnoxious pop-up text every single time you do anything. Wait for the sequel (assuming they change that particular mechanic).

3/5... 2/5.. haelix is right. It is funny (anyone who explains to idiots why it is funny will personally be murdered by me for killing jokes) but the fu##ing messages pop up way way to frequently.

I really like the game, but it quite hard to play due to the messages popping up every time you jump or collect a coin. I suggest making an option to turn this ''on'' or ''off''. Anyways, great game, I love the graphics by the way!

A cute little game. I get that the messages are part of the style, but if they weren't used EVERY time you did something, the game part would be a little more enjoyable, or slightly less repetitious.

I loved it, but there does seem to be a glitch with some enemies. It displays a message for killing them, but then immediately switches to the "=( Oh bother" death message. Might want to look into that. Otherwise it's a great game. 5/5 and faved.

Sheesh, all you people are whining on about the messages. It's quite humorous, and you should be able to get used to it if you have half a sense of humor.

o dear lord the dialoage is to much i cant stand it. i as only able to play like a minuite. i dont even know what game is about. its not bad just get rid of the dialage boxes

The game is a neat idea. The most annoying factor is that every time i jump it pauses to bring out the dialog box saying random things.
