Charming little game. Not much to it, really, just follow the directions and keep at it. Not for everyone, of course, but I used to play games like these all the time (particularly the landmark Bemani games) and still do whenever I can (Project Diva). Progresses at a nice pace, never felt too tedious or grindy, and an appropriately light, nonserious tone throughout. The artwork...well, it takes all kinds at Kongregate. Thumbs-up for me! 4/5

Pretty ridiculous how I got to the deep end first and had no problems catching fish, then I upgrade boats again and can't catch literally a single large fish.

Just finished your lovely little game, and it was wonderful, just charming. If you need beta testers for your next creation, I'm all in! Stellar job, friend!

So good but so short ! i didn't even get to buy the last 2 upgrades before catching the kraken (hadn't seen they were around). 5/5 but so short !

This game is exactly like real fishing. I spent half an hour to fish at every single spot of the lake, sometimes waiting a few minutes, otherwise do what the girl tells me : move away. Never had a single bit, not even a tease.... Am I the only one who played when the fishes were not hungry? Am I missing a bait?

Ok so there are some Easter Eggs in the game, relating to StarCraft II. So far all I can find of the Star Craft II references is the Protoss symbol on her dad's boat engine, in the opening cut scene, what looks like a wrecked pylon at the toll guy to Plott's Basin, The Zerg symbol in the ice floe's and I think that the ruins on the way to the Kraken are Xel'nga ruins? I have been unable to find a reference to Terran thus far.
+ to see if anyone found more

A beautifully simple game! Fun, short, but a bit tricky, with great uplifting music and nice artwork. Could use a map though, but that's it :)
Oh, and a whale takes up the same amount of space as a shrimp?
