Under rating threshold (show) @Toxo1 If the 15% discount is relevant, EVERY spawn in relevant; 3500 and 4000 acheivements give 500% power to all. 5k gives 1000% to cerberus (and going down), until after titan it goes back to 200% to all.

Under rating threshold (show) @DwalinG My Inventory is there - @sukkel Agreed. But should be less of a priority. Maybe making the bar for upgrades *sligltly* smaller and place a rather small "All" button, which then buys all (possible, if insufficient souls) upgrades reducing the full upgrade click per monster to 2. In cas of the Upgrades in General... i don't know. Not a fan. - @Farbinrp offline mode works fine. Wait 15 minutes after logging out. Sometime it doesn't work if you browser has some sort of special cookie-handling - @Vendetta Mh... maybe this is hoistmasters attempt at an "Anti-Idle" concept :P

Under rating threshold (show) I don't like the cost reduction, seems like a big nerf I would fo much rather had the 1500% buff to skeletons, as thats the exact part of the game I am at, and have kind of hit a brick wall for a few days now

Under rating threshold (show) Well, you pretty much could spend 50 undecillion of 60 undecillion, leaving you with 10 undecillion which power then is multiplied by x25 ( so you then got the power of 250 undecillion souls) PROBLEM!!! however is, that you already have a staff. Assuming youre using the titan spirit staff you only would increase the last 4 spawns power by x1.25, while the first 6 would get the x25 at the same time. Basically you probably should at least have 100 undecillion souls before even considering buying the staff (and god help you if you actually make a purchasing mistake.) Also, spent souls are spent souls, they are still "gathered souls" meaning it will take you longer to reach 100.000 undecillion souls even with the power boost. I'd advice buying it when having 250.000 undecillion souls. That way you're sure to have more pps after equipping the new staff.

Under rating threshold (show) @Hurin you're not supposed to buy the staff when you get 50 undecillon souls. Wait until you have a few times more THEN buy it. otherwise you will have to start over.

Under rating threshold (show) @Jiscil: I believe you're misunderstanding my point. Though I say soul generated, I meant power generated, which soul gain is based off of. My point is, it'll take a really long time to gain 50 undecillion souls which gives a lot of power gain - but when we spend it for the final staff - we only gain 2500% compared to having the souls not spent. So why buy the staff for 2500% gain compared to keeping 150 undecillion % gain is my question? Unless souls are not spent when purchasing items, which I highly doubt. And souls do carry over when you reset unless you are speaking of hard reset which I believe wipes everything including items, though I've never tested it.

Sep. 23, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) To Hurin, you can just get the souls back by resetting. Currently there's no penalty to spending all your souls just before resetting as they don't carry over.

Under rating threshold (show) @Hurin the percentages stacks with each other, this mean if you have a spawn that gives 1 trillion with all the soul/upgrades porcentages after purchasing the staff it will give 26 trillion and if you get a 100% upgrade after that it will give 52 trillion, this is the way percentages is calculated in this game

Under rating threshold (show) You know considering how much it costs to get the final staff atm, is there any point to getting it? Since the total soul count generated doesn't decrease upon purchase, we're essentially losing 150,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% power boost compared to the meager 2500% from the staff (+1000 skeletons with each reset). Am I missing something or is it more of a completionist-type of item?

Under rating threshold (show) On the other hand there is not much point to complain too much. After all, there is content to come, Items which will be created and stuff :) And I'm actually of the patient sort. I'd rather wait longer for it than to have a rushed out the door product.

Under rating threshold (show) @hawkaris I understand the need to buff up early gamers to compete with current gamers. I'm for that. I actually want to early gamers get their stuff faster, but I don't want useless upgrades that nobody can reach. It should not take 2 months to get the next upgrade, period. Not for late gamers and neither for early gamers. There is no need whatsoever to nerf late gamers. Just buff up early game instead. Just increase the soul gain up to some Quintillions and you've got that problem solved. Late gamers wouldn't benefit from that. I guess I'm a mid gamer with my 6 decillions.

Under rating threshold (show) As a philosophy - cribbed from my time with MMOs raising level caps and tiers - sweeping power boosts should help newer players catch up to the veterans, rather than let the veterans widen the gap even further. And everyone hates nerfs. They make people that didn't or couldn't take advantage of a pre-nerf state feel like they were cheated out of something. As such, be very careful when you're making numbers bigger, because it's hard to put that djinni back in the bottle.

Under rating threshold (show) I agree with synster14 about the reduced cost upgrades to an extent. As it is, that's really kind of a bad upgrade. It's late stage so it loses a lot of the appeal, and having it in the upgrades like that as a concept is just a little off base. I would suggest one of two things, either A) build that cost reduction into some gear instead. or B) make those upgrades later, more expensive, and permanent through resets.....and then put back the 1500% power increase it was before, because that was a lot more valuable to us.

Under rating threshold (show) Making all of the new 3500/4000 achievements into "all" does seem exceptionally powerful, but I'm not quite there yet, so I'll refrain from commenting. But the "discount" upgrades from 10^75~10^87 doesn't seem like it'd do much to carry people through that whole range. It feels like a very insignificant gain. (As an aside, I rather like the idea of investing in upgrades that stick around, and even make your next go-round start faster. The extra skeletons are quite nice, and I can't wait to see what kinds of things fancier books do.)

Under rating threshold (show) I have to voice my dislike for "reduced cost" upgrades. If it's too expensive to the extent that you need and upgrade to reduce the cost, then you just reduce the base cost! It's like making what should be a patch, into an upgrade. I mean, it's not like the reduced cost is optional.

Under rating threshold (show) With the new update the handling on some stuff became easier, there are some nice new achievements and better tooltips. But srsly... my pps just got divided by 60. I'm in the decilion range for souls (28 decilion souls), accumulating more souls already took forever, the next valuable upgrade is about 287 quintilions (55 days of waiting before the upgrade). At least i was able to double my souls in 1-2 days. As it is now i could wait about 8 years for the next valuable upgrade (without getting ne souls). If i instead decided to only double my souls for now, I`d still have to wait for 2 whole months (cant rly do anything till then). And even if i could ever get close to the new upgrades, a 15% decrease is basically useless (and rly pales next to the x15 which it was before). Conclution: Some nice things were added UI-wise, however the late game basically became unplayable.

Sep. 23, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) Also the quintvigintillion Upgrades I was working towards were replaced. Instead of 150x more souls, you can spend 15% less on upgrading. What do I care if My next upgrade of Titan will cost 21 Quintvigintillion, or 15 Quintvigintillion. It is still Quintvigintillion, with the dead patch for quatuorvigintillion combined with the slow soulgain I just feel that all this update was meant to do was to throw players back 3 days to 1 week. Or maybe I'm totally wrong. After all every Spawn has now more useful achievements. Instead of 50% increase per 100 level afte 1500 you get 150% increase now, among other additions. Though most of them are pretty late late game.
