Quick question, "nabilpro", how exactly did you join Kong after the updates, then made 1 comment to compliment on the updates, and not done anything else than that?

So I look at the geen bars to finish move to 100% a couple of times, then I can press the buttons that change their color to orange. A wooden plank offers more gameplay...

HolydayStudio meeting: OK, people, we have been told our game is awful about 1300 times in the comments and got rated to rank #197 in the Idle Games Category after we somehow convinced Kongregate to badge it because our income was slowing down. Does anybody have any ideas how we can correct this so we are not hated by every single player on Kong anymore? One of the 17 accountants responded with: "how about if we fix some of the spelling mistakes and add a loading bar which goes from 0 to 99% instantly and then sits there for 20 more seconds while it is actually loading?".

I feel like the developers tried to make a midpoint between an idle game and Facebook daily game and fundamentally misunderstood the appeal of both genres.

I don't mind this game however, I do think that at some points it can be quite annoying, I feel like the daily code redemption should give you a little more, not too much but just a bit more

@runescapeplayer Go to office, claim fee (will restart the game but also will let you collect fee) and buy managers from office using your fee. Managers help you advance faster in the game and earn more money.

https://gyazo.com/857ef25afffd5c458f81dd9f1f41efa0 Look at this. It's been like this for a month. Why can't you just give me the god damn badge already!? FIX YOUR BORING GAME PLEASE

@zacius @GabePuratekuta Assuming you're talking about the medium badge: Just finished that; took me exactly 7 days to get, roughly logging in about thrice a day and prestiging about 8 or 9 times overall.

I came here beginning the game December 15, got the badge today 23 december.
I saw the developer's reply "Did you know that there are a lot of free daily rewards the so called daily Login, social media rewards...etc" well, if i need more than a week even with all the social media rewards and weekly gifts to get to level 3 OUT OF 30 OR MORE, and have countless perks if i even pay a small amount of money (3 claims lots of bars etc) then it's blatantly obvious the developers are looking for a quick buck copying a template that has worked in the future because people are way too impatient and tend to fall into these traps.
If at least the gameplay was be interesting I would've played more, but this is just an insult.
Don't fall into this indie, don't give them money.
1 star.

At loading game I get this error:
TypeError: __GLOBAL__sub_I_Thread_cpp_12840 is not a function
When I reload it works normally.

Lol @ all the best comments almost exclusively being bashing this. I have played to get the badge, I almost have it, and after that, you won't be seeing me again. I have played 'for a few days', as you keep telling us to, yet do you expect us to stay around and wait? If you want us to stay until the fun unlocks, just give us the fun at the start and see how much better you end up. Making your game slower than swimming in honey, and then telling people to wait a while before your AdVenture Capitalist unfolds just is bad practice.

The grind is real, but it's bearable, even enjoyable at times. I think the real problem is that the lvl 3 city badge isn't worth more points. Should be 30 imo

After 41 hours playing this "game" I am only at Level 5. The parts that appear to be interesting are unlocked at level 14. There is no "fun" to be unlocked as you progress. Even with collecting the free bonuses this is a burden to play. If the makers cut the threshold values by half it might have some distraction play value. As it is, don't bother. There's not enough action to make this remotely enjoyable.

A loading bar? How exciting! **NOT** Especially as the loading bar jumps immediately to 99% and one stil has to wait between 10 and 30 seconds before the account info is being downloaded. So either the download bar has got their figures wrong, or the actual processing time has not been taken into account. Time for a patch? :)

I play HCR every day.
I've started almost on its release.
Every single day.
And that's after I've gotten absolutely everything in the first Holyday City game.
This "reloaded" version began slowly, tiresomely slow.
It was improving as the game evolved, unlocking several alternatives that were not present in the previous game.
Alternatives that made us think and adopt strategies that allowed us to achieve the goals we wanted.
But now, the game has become extremely slow, dull ... almost useless.
There is virtually nothing to do.
There are no more upgrades to buy, both in the city and on the island, there are no more prestige items, no more souvenirs, anyway: there is nothing to do for days.
The stars given are so few that to buy a single upgrade on the TV station (one of the few things left to grow) you have to "buy" 2 or 3 "10 days payouts".
Holyday studios- this is an appeal: please implement an upgrade that is really attractive, otherwise there is nothing left but to abandon the game.

I know most of you hate this game and I totally get it. Personally, I kinda enjoyed the grind and am now max level with my city and the island. I've never reached that point in any idle game, so I'd like to know: Are any more content updates coming? Or am I hoarding my shells and holy bars for nothing?

So it has a bug. Comment below about reloading the game giving you extra resources in catch up... it is the game lagging to the server and the last updates you did not being saved to the server

I initially played this game for the badges. I intended to stop due to it being pretty boring. I read the devs comments about playing on for a time to get to the 'fun' stuff. After 3months? I got to lvl 14. I opened some other areas and surprise... it is still boring.

So I've built the mine just to learn that it's basically worthless since the ressource can't be used prior to lv3... good job on the scaling...
Probably THE worst idle game I've played so far.

For anyone wondering to get the badge it takes about 20 Sp. Took about 37 hours time played and I bought all office upgrades up to the 25sx one that was my last purchase. After level 3? It's an even more boring grind that nothing really changes at all.
Do the dailies, you don't need to actually like/follow on facebook, but the codes give free +2hs and shit.
As others have said, this is a money grab.

I should amend my previous post to say that profit multipliers are multiplicative, not additive, so they can become quite powerful (meaning a 2x and 3x profit bonus mean 6x in the end, not 5x). I actually ended with factories being my most profitable buildings - it definitely required a little math to be most efficient.
With that said... this game was amazingly uninteresting. There is almost nothing to do but watch counters tick for weeks on end (whatever the devs might say). I have both badges and I am now out of here for good.
