Is it possible to add a toggle for the old and new systems of buying, so that everyone can be happy? Personally, I prefer the newer 100 way, because it kept everything at nice round numbers.

Actually I liked the way how the 1 / 10 / 100 caps worked... Now its not good anymore, you click on 100 and it shows the cost of 100 upgrades and upgrades only to the cap... Also I liked the feedback of the gray / colored pictures so you knew if you can effort the 100 stack upgrade... Please repatch this!

I don't understand the port system... I mean I get that you can sell materials there but it doesn't seem to matter how many materials you sell... I think it's based on a percentage of something so when you get more resources per resource producer it lowers the price or something :/ because I had around 20 billion of each resource selling for around 2 decillion and now i have like 100 trillion of each resource and it only sells for 1 decillion which doesn't make sense. Can someone explain to me how this works?
Hello there serph989 :) The thing that you noticed is not a secret. We say that on the tutorial :) The profit is based on the MPS and the resource production :)

I actually preferred the new buy 10/100 system, as I like round numbers. The uneven numbers piss me off, and being able to know which I could afford 100 of at a quick glance was really useful.
Now, not only is the game back to being more annoying, but I've tasted the nectar of convenience.

Buy max is terrible idea. Why bother play an idle if there is Buy Max? I come here to play a game that i don't want to invest a lot of time but i can play for 5-10 minutes 4-5 times per day. If you add buy max the game will last 10 seconds. It will not be an idle game. It will be like watching the flight screen on the airports. Just numbers. The game is great as it is. Devs dont listen to the ones that want buy max.

I agree with Michailsia, buy max is the worst idea of the decade. I am here to play not have everything on Auto.... If you add buy Max it will be like playing Halo and have a bomb to clear the whole stage. You will yeah, but the fun will no longer be there.... PLEASE DONT ADD BUY MAX. JUST DONT !!! i love the game like that, and thanks for returning to the old buy 10/100 system. People who want buy max propably are not idlers, they should just go to play Age of Empires instead lol

Hello everybody. Our mailbox has been flooded with comments to the new buy 10/100. It seems that most people prefer the old system. We would like to please everyone in the future. If you dont like someones proposals vote negative to the comment. Since we use voting system we must get the right messages to avoid future misunderstandings. We will restore the old system in the new few hours. :)

Everyone is suggesting to go back to the old ways of buying businesses by having the "Buy 100" act as a "Buy Max" button... Why hasn't anyone mentioned actually making a "Buy Max" button instead? Seems to be an easier fix and I don't have to click a bunch of times.

As many before me have said... Why have the buttons been broken? Buy 100 should act as buy max. One simple change has sucked most of the enjoyment out of the game....

To that last update, it' great that the game now calculates the rounded prices. But I almost can't play the game anymore when it's not possible to buy before you can afford 100 when 100 is chosen. Now it's too much changes of the amount, and if i want to buy max of one and that is 87 I have to click 16 times as a bare minimum. Could you make it so that when 100 is chosen you can still but less? Or even an option to toggle this if players who are further along the game likes it the way it is now. Thanks for a otherwise great game :)

the game freezes for me about every 2 seconds for about .3 seconds. The CPU stays at 10% all the time. I know that's difficult to fix, but why didn't you just use html + js, like http://www.kongregate.com/games/swarmsim/swarm-simulator?acomplete=swarm ?

It's BROKEN!!! Buy 100 and Buy 10 no longer act as "Buy MAX" when there's not enough money :( Fiddly, much too fiddly without that feature.

I preferred when it was possible to buy even if you didn't have the resources (ie: "buy 100" but you just got 30 due to money). It was faster, now you have to wait or to keep changing the amount of resources you want to buy.

The title lacks real interplay between the different elements. It's really just a pathway of increasing to the next achievement rather than anything that would create a "just one more" feeling. I'm just saving up for my next 100, stuck in town 2 with 20k employees to hire. Somewhere.

Really happy with the game so far. Please don't nerf the struggle to finish level 6. Yes, it's very slow. So what? It's an idle game. If the whole game had the same pace it would be _really_ boring. I mean, if you're making the exact same kind of progress at decillion as you are at vigintillion, then all that's changing is the names of the numbers - meaningless.
Please keep this section hard, so I can savor finally passing it.

You somehow broke the good buying mechanic of "buy X but buy at least as much as you can". Now if you have "Buy 100" you can only buy if you can afford 100, but if you can only afford 99 or less you can't buy it any more.
That's a bad change, it was much MUCH better before.
Hello there ! Of course its your choice, which game you will choose yo play. But if you enjoy Holyday City we can help you restore your save. Keep in mind that the deleted save was caused of either Unity or your computer not from the game it self. If you want your save back email us at holydaystudios@gmail.com :)

Did the mechanic of buying up to the next 100 get reverted? I just went to buy 100 more cafes, got the little spinning trophy, and I was still at **46.

For those who want to know how to get your popularity up, each employee is 1 XP. Each company has a different employee to level ratio. Boutique = 1:10 Cafe = 1:11 Restaurant = 1:12 Night Club = 1:13 Hotel = 1:14 Factory = 1:17 Power Plant = 1:18 Farm = 1:15 Mine = 1:50 Lab = 1:16. The one with the most yield per level is the mine by far; if you're close to leveling up, start dumping upgrades into the mine!

Rounding up to 10 may be the best thing I've seen yet! A great addition for OCD people like myself who can't have an odd number of a business like 107. Oh god just seeing that number makes me cringe.

@KingDanAllDay I agree. Definitely hit a wall at end of 6 where it is taking quite awhile of nothing. I know it's an idle game, but still! Maybe a few more achievements in the middle there at that range 3k for some extra cash?

I prefer the older way the buying multible (10/100) worked, would be nice if we could turn it on/off in settings or something, if that's possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Back then I used to use 10/100 to buy all that my money could afford. Now if I try to do the same thing it won't work. I have to buy 1 by 1, 10 by 10 or 100 by 100. Is there anyway to put it like it was back then?

Maybe add a section where it lists the employee count per individual stricture? I know it shows employee totals for all structures, but knowing what to prioritize when leveling would be good.

my issue is that the money system is not realistic. Could there be a more realistic option perhaps in the options tab that allows us to switch between the unbelievable amounts and realistic amounts? Just curious. I have something like 2.5sextillion. That is more money that every nation on earth, that is just hard to get my head around.
Thanks.Will

The new buy 100 is a major downgrade now that it can't buy partials. The update notes made it sound like it would just now show the price to reach the next 100 not lock you out unless you had enough for 100.

oh also, this may not be practical but I would love a button that would buy max in the facilities too. After resetting it is a frenzied click fest to buy everything again...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
consider to add Max option to Buy button. or enable buy max option when pressing Cntrl or Shift, it will also help a lot when upgrading in the City Facilities in the mid-late game. thanks for everything.

In response to the buy max or the comment about the way buy 100 used to work: I think there should be a buy max button and then the buy 100 change wouldn't be so bad. The buy max button would be very handy when you have just reset the city and need to buy so much. The buy 100 button I still would like better the way it used to be, but I wouldn't mind it if there was buy max.

With buy max I could buy as well 25 or 50 or 500 or 2500. It's great when you will move forward and people can afford big values shortly after soft reset. Also you see instantly how many u can afford and watch it grow which is also fun
What would you prefer? A buy max or a buy 500 with rounding at 100s ? The advantage of buy 500 will be that you will not have for example 2345 Boutique, you will stop at 2300. This comment/question is for "qrps" too :)
well, its democracy :) We received many comments about that, and more than 40 emails to change it. But if you get many votes on this comment we are willing to change it back. The game is evolving according to the players will, not ours :)
